Richard Painter Talks Charlottesville Violence and Racism Permeating the trump White house: Well Done, Richard

Richard Painter Demands Trump Fire Seb Gorka and Steve Bannon Over Charlottesville Violence

With violent clashes breaking out today at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, former George W. Bush ethics lawyer and longtime Republican Richard Painter spoke out forcefully against the White House and his belief that the Trump administration has fed into racist rhetoric.
Appearing on MSNBC as the network reported on the violence at the “Unite the Right” rally, Painter took aim at the former Breitbartemployees who are now in the White House, tying the publication’s association with the alt-right to the events going on in Virginia today. And thus stating President Donald Trump needs to rid his administration of anyone tied to Breitbart.
“We are not the party of fascism in America and we are going to have to reject this,” Painter exclaimed. “We need to demand today that president trump fires Sebastian Gorka, Steve Bannon, all the other alt-right neofascists in the White House.”
Bannon, the current White House chief strategist, was the CEO of Breitbart News before joining the Trump campaign last year. Gorka, a deputy assistant to the president, also came over from Breitbart, where he served as an editor.
Painter added, “This is Breitbart News what you’re watching on the streets of Charlottesville and as a Republican — I will remain a Republican but not support fascism — and call for the impeachment if he does not fire the neofascists in his White House immediately.”
Later in the segment, he railed against Breitbart some more, calling it a racist organization while once again calling for the president’s removal if he doesn’t remove Gorka and Bannon from the White House.
