Brilliant show today from Noam Laden on 77 WABC New York News/Talk Radio.

Calling out Donald Trump on his ridiculous accusations about different groups of citizens in the United States, the last one being Muslims.

Setting a very poor example for someone aiming for the highest office in our country to single out certain groups in Hitler style fear mongering.

Some of the most offensive statements to this blog writer is the disrespect he directs toward a sitting President of the United States.

Seriously, someone I voted for twice and someone this blog lady stands behind 100 per cent.

Standing with President Barck Obama.

Noam Laden said today that police officers in New York City have to be removed from their regular posts in order to protect certain mosques that have received threats from angered citizens.Image result for noam laden

Noam is suggesting some of this anger rests with donald trump after stirring up the population by asking for Muslims to be banned from our country......Muslim children are afraid and a violent attack may ensue.

People, this is not right.  donald makes false claims.

At the end of the day, WABC might want to consider the fact that they already have plenty of home grown talent to fill the void of Geraldo Rivera--Noam Laden always does an excellent job of creating stimulating conversation about current news issues.  Like Geraldo, Noam Laden can handle the callers--agree or disagree without anger and shouting.

Noam Laden is very equipped to host a radio show on a popular New York News/Talk radio station.

WABC should keep with their tradition of Geraldo Rivera and Curtis and Kuby by letting both sides of the issue be known.  It is much more interesting for the listener than the angry, shouting old, white man

With Noam, Geraldo and Curtis and Kuby we have both sides of the news--we have more information to make our own decisions.

Well done today, Noam and thank you for a good show.

Now if we can just do something about the false info on Planned Parenthood spewed by O'Reilly--stirring up hate--can we lay blame at the feet of this individual, as well.

I hope everyone can listen to my girl, Joan Hamburg at 10 AM on Saturdays--this lady has the best recipes--I can't wait to visit New York and see the things she talks about--I love Joan.

Geraldo Rivera Calls Out Chris Christie: Paving The Road to The Whitehouse for Hillary Clinton

2.9.11ChrisChristieTownHallByLuigiNovi5

Bill O'Reilly
Bill O'Reilly angry and shouting
an unattractive trait
Geraldo Rivera.
Geraldo Rivera--cute, happy and unafraid
Official photographic portrait of US President...
US President Barack--cute and funny--good President
Chris Christie recently shouting at a councilman asking him about unused funds for Hurricane Sandy Relief.......

Thanks, Chris, your just paving the road to the White House for my girl Hillary Clinton.

Man, those rough words....no woman wants to hear that--especially any one who has endured any kind of domestic violence--

Mad men shouting--your just echoing OJ Simpson now--and we know what can happen next.

No, there is not a suggestion that Chris Christie is a violent man--but shouting in the style of OJ is a quick flash to a memory of violence that can easily take place following the verbal abuse.

It can be a punch in the wall or maybe something will get wrecked--something you like--or maybe the punch will be at you.  No--that kind of shouting are remembrances of a scary situation....for some people--maybe not for everyone.

Mad men shouting......Goodbye Chris Christie......Hello, Jeb Bush......

Geraldo Rivera called him out today on his WABC Radio Show.....does this angry aggression really do anything for the Republican Party--for someone thinking about a run for the White House?

Geraldo Rivera, the one thinking Republican, also praised President Obama for the continued up sweep of the economy with recent figures emerging about the best economic scenario in the past 14 years.  Geraldo also told us that this is momentum for employers to keep hiring.

Often Geraldo Rivera will complain about the President but the hallmark of his show is to give credit where credit is due and he feels that the economy fueled by the actions of Barack Obama deserve a thumbs up and "good job, well done."

This New York News/Talk Jay said "I think this is the reason for our ratings that are going sky high."

The Ronnie Republic hopes Geraldo will say these words to O'Reilly who digs up dirt on President Obama each evening and tries to call it news.

That is the difference between Geraldo Rivera, his WABC Radio Show with his partner Noam Laden, and The Factor or Fox News with Bill O'Reilly.

No, Geraldo is not afraid--he is not afraid of the caller to have a different opinion--to chat about new ideas--and let people form their own opinion.

Geraldo is not afraid to let us think--O'Reilly prefers we think his shouting with clenched fist ideas are what we should spit back as the public.  Too bad O'Reilly is so often wrong as he tries to pick and choose that facts.

Also, Bill, that's not what we are calling news, now.

Good job, Geraldo and Noam, and thanks for standing up for women.  Violence against women is a bad scene--it runs in a family--bad for the kids, the wife the husband and everyone involved.

Chris Christie's harsh remarks are an engraved invitation for Hillary to take the presidency in 2016.

That over-the-top angry shouting--bad move for someone thinking about running against a woman.......Hello Hillary Clinton.....Hello Jeb Bush.

Congratulations to Geraldo Rivera and Noam Laden for their fantastic success and well-deserved high rating on WABC Radio New York.

from the desk of The Ronnie Republic Radio Round-Up and Chloe Louise--Hillary girl forever.

Opposing comments welcome...............

Juans Williams Talks Responsibility to the Republican Party

Bill O'Reilly to Chris Christie:  May I ride on your train........

Juan, you are answering my question.  It seems like Bill O'Reilly has the same idea--I do not know about house cleaning the whole republican congress but it seems like he is going more towards the middle in his recent negative comments about duck dynasty.  The point being--that crazy right side cannot only not get anything accomplished in congress but they also cannot win a big election.

It seems like the big money people have spoken and said anyone who wants to survive as a republican or a television show better try to get a ride on that fast moving locomotive know as the Chris Christie Express.

It is about winning, being realistic, getting things done and standing up for the voters.  I think Bill and his "folks," the ones he is looking out for, the 500 dollar a ticket gang on his bolder and fresher meet and greet tour around the country have spoken.

Get with the Chris Christie program and leave the whackadoodles behind or face death as a party, or worse yet as a television host.  Unless Jeb Bush or Jon Huntsman jump in and take over Chris Christie is the ticket to ride and life for the GOP.  Thanks and putting you in my blog......cl

Juan Williams: Republicans to blame for the public's disgust with Congress

As the year ends, Gallup reports that public approval of Congress averaged 14 percent during 2013. This, the polling firm points out, is “the lowest annual average in Gallup’s history.”
The pollsters added: “2013 is the only year in Gallup’s history in which all monthly readings were below 20 percent.”
Yet this is “the new normal,” according to Gallup, because in each of the last four years the congressional approval rating for the year has been below 20 percent.
It was such a bad year for Congress that Gallup predicts the 2014 midterm elections will not, fundamentally, be a fight over which party controls the House and Senate.
Instead, the campaign could hinge on the overwhelmingly negative view of Congress and the sense “that more Americans feel that problems are with the institution itself rather than with the particular party or people who control it.”
This brings us to the quote of the year about political life on Capitol Hill. It came from Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), defending the Republican-led House.
“We should not be judged on how many new laws we create,” he told CBS in July. “We ought to be judged on how many laws we repeal.”
This Republican strategy is at the heart of why Congress is so unpopular. They will not work on the big issues, beginning with their failure to deal with the number one public priority: creating jobs and boosting the economy.
Instead, the GOP’s congressional focus, according to the influential Republican Study Committee, is on extracting what they term “reforms” — really, they’re talking about budget cuts — in “mandatory spending” programs including food stamps, Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. There is practically no desire for those cuts reflected in any polling.
As Campaign 2014 gets underway, Republicans are threatening another government shutdown tied to refusal to approve a debt-ceiling hike to pay bills. Their demand is for President Obama to make major cuts to programs such as Social Security.
The reduced-government, reduced-spending, reduced-federal-power strategy extends to the Senate where Republicans have used an historic number of filibusters and threats to block nominees to Obama administration posts and judicial seats. That led Senate Democrats to the “nuclear option,” opening the door to simple majority votes on most nominees.
But even with rules changes intended to break gridlock, the economy continues to struggle partly as a result of the GOP strategy.
This is not winning Republicans friends or votes. Only after the awful start for the ObamaCare website did generic polls on voter preference briefly lean toward the GOP. But at year end, polling on the question of generic preference now swings back and forth between the parties.
Now the Speaker is disavowing his earlier desire to have his party’s success in Congress measured by how many laws it repeals. His new talking point revolves around the number of bills passed by the GOP House that the Democratic majority in the Senate has ignored.
But even if all those bills, about 150, are counted, it does not change Congress’ absurdly low approval ratings and this Congress’ ranking, at the mid-point of the 113th Congress, as the least productive in modern times.
Of course, about a third of those bills that did pass the House called for repeal or defunding of ObamaCare. They had no chance in the Senate and no hope of avoiding a presidential veto.
Even by the standards of a divided Congress, with Republicans controlling the House and Democrats in the majority in the Senate, there has never been such an unproductive session of Congress.
NBC’s “First Read” recently published a chart comparing the productivity of today’s divided Congress (57 laws passed) to the work undertaken by a divided Congress during President Reagan’s terms – when Republicans controlled the Senate and Democrats controlled the House. The 97th, 98th and 99thCongresses respectively passed 473 laws, 623 laws, and 663 laws.
The article concluded: “It’s not even a close call. That [Democratic] House got a lot more done with its GOP rivals than this GOP House has with its [Democratic] counterparts.”
The failure to deal with the nation’s big issues begins with the Republican refusal to help the economy get better. The public is aware of the damage the Republican majority in the House inflicted upon the country when they shut down the government in October — an action that came with a price tag of  $24 billion, according to the financial services firm Standard & Poor’s.
The Republican strategy of congressional inaction has not even won fans among Republicans. According to Gallup, Democrats give Congress a 14 percent approval rating, Independents an 11 percent approval rating and Republicans a 10 percent approval rating.
There is constant attention in the news to Obama’s falling approval ratings in the polls — Real Clear Politics’ average of polls has him at 54 percent disapproval to 42.2 percent approval, near his all-time low.
But even if this is the darkest hour for the president, he still holds close to a 30-percentage point lead in approval over Congress.
At a Christmas party last week a Republican who owns several television stations came over to me with an idea: How about starting a movement to throw out the entire Congress and start over?
I thought he was joking and politely smiled. But he recounted how two radio personalities in California started the movement that led to the recall of Gov. Gray Davis (D) in 2003.
Now he wants he wants me and major television personalities, columnists and editorial writers to call for a “housecleaning” of all current members of Congress.
Well, this is the time for New Year’s resolutions.

Bill O'Reilly Jumping on That Speeding Freight Train Named Chris Christie

I used to watch Howie regularly on CNN--never wanted to miss the show--and now it is sad to me to see him forced into agreeing with you know who, Bill O'Reilly.  Once in a great while it seems like he is sharing his opinion of what is happening on the news but more often than not Mr. O bullies him down.  He is almost forced to repeat Bill's thoughts and then smile about it.  I don't want Howie just agreeing all the time.

Has anyone else thought Bill O'Reilly is changing to meet Chris Christie somewhere in the middle.

He suggested Phil Robertson was too judgemental in the recent DD fiasco.

Is Bill trying to distance himself from the whackadoodles for survival.

Do you think he gets tips running around on the bolder and fresher tour from the big money "folks" he is looking out for--he is the only one doing that.  500 big one for the meet and greet here in San Diego.
Is he worried about his own survival, the show's survival, his position in the republican party and the survival of the republican party.

Is this due to the fact that the big money folks are indicating they are ready to get behind Chris Christie--the only sane repub ready to hit a grand slam for the party in the big election coming up.

Just an idea but I do not think the tea party can survive the big one and it seems like Mr. O does have that political foresight.

Will he do anything to have the gov, Christie on his show and to share his attention?

He was quiet in order to have Sarah Palin on the show.

Unless Jeb Bush jumps in to save the country from us dems.

Well, what do you think?

Here is Erik Wemple talking about Howie in the Washington Post:

Republican Big Dog Chris Christie is not Afraid of the NRA

Chris Christie is a leader, not a follower and not afraid.....

He has already shown he cares for the safety and welfare of the people of his state.  He is not afraid of the walking-dead branch of the republican party, the limbaugh-ites, or the NRA.  Many repubs admire him and as a dem, I admire him and his leadership skills, as well.

He is one of the most exciting figures on the political scene today.  In regards to the gun safety bill, I feel he will weigh the options carefully and sign in favor of the safety and welfare of voters of his state.  I know this much, he has already shown he is not afraid....and that definitely includes the NRA.

from facebook and Mark Kelly.............
  • New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has a major gun safety bill sitting on his desk right now, and he's about to decide whether to sign it. Mark wrote an op-ed today urging Gov. Christie to do the right thing and sign New Jersey's gun safety bill into law. Please share it with your friends and family.
