Cenk FLIPS OUT At Bill Maher On CNN--Bill Maher is a big jerk!

Came to the conclusion a long time ago Bill Maher is really only interested in himself.

On Larry King he said he was for Wesley Clark, running for president at the time.

I particularly noticed this statement because I admired him also and thought he had some good ideas about the war.

Later, when Bill was on Larry King again, Larry made a reference to Bill being for Wesley Clark--this was when Wesley Clark had fallen out of favor. Beill completely denied he ever said it.

Larry had to immediately drop it because Bill was so clever and Larry could not really call him a liar right on the chat show.

Also, Bill is a gifted comedian.

Did he really have to call Sarah Palin the C word.

What was the point of that. Was it about politics or was it about just promoting himself.

Even though I do not agree with Sarah Palin's politics she and other women have the right to speak.

She is not a comedian but a politician. What was her response supposed to be to that horrible statement.

He goes too far and he lies and he uses other people for his own promotion and acts like a know-it-all as is suggested in this vid.

I really do not have time for him one bit.

The Huff Post was so in love with him if one ever wrote a negative response about what he said it was deleted.

He comes off sounding like a big educated news guy but really he is a big jerk.

Thanks to TheYoung Turks for calling him out.

CNN and the others should do the same.

The Bill Press Show Talks the Ugly Side of Politics

Radio listeners, can't resist chatting about the Bill Press Radio Show with guest host Betsy Woodruff talking about the very ugly side of politics.

In Missouri a very sensitive man ultimately took his own life after suffering very ugly ads depicting Jewish folks in an unflattering tone, auditor Tom Schweich.

The ads were run by a known entity who trades in smear campaigns often feared by politicians.

Betsy said this man may have been way too sensitive for politics but if someone has the desire to make things better for our country or their particular cause and is interested in getting into the political conversation of the country, why not, interest is always a good thing.

This brings to mind the unfortunate incident regarding Sarah Palin and Bill Maher.

Anyone would know the views of Sarah Palin and The Ronnie Republic are on opposite sides of the fence, nevertheless, one can also admire women getting into politics.  One can value a lady taking a stand, willing to voice their views on a public stage, willing to suffer the ridicule.

After the comments of Bill Maher about Sarah Palin the ronnie re said who would want to ever get into the public political arena when a comedian the likes of Mr. Maher, someone with extreme talent, would use words against Ms. Palin that were of a cruel nature--words that only served to promote the career of bill maher.

bill maher is ultra talented--in that group of very few comedians who stay at the top tiers of fame over time.  bill maher has enjoyed fame, fortune and notiriety over decades.

Comedian maher used his words as a sword against Sarah Palin--there was no comeback.  What was she suppose to say to refute his statements.

Admire Sarah Palin for participating in politics.

Detest Bill Maher for mercilessly using his words and talent as a weapon for self promotion.

Thanks, Betsy Woodruff and Bill Press for telling us about the political scene.

Rest in peace, Tom Schweich, and thank you for caring enough about the welfare of the human race to give your time to politics.

Why Bill O'Reilly and Bill Maher Can Never Be Taken Seriously

Bill O'Reilly
Bill "I'm mad."' O'Reilly
Well, it's quite simple isn't it?

He is in the same boat as Bill Maher.

Once one delves into the ugly habit of name calling of anyone, but particularly of a public official, current or past, and then tries to pass themselves off as a serious news show......someone with a relevant opinion......well, it's just not happening.

Considering the Ronnie Republic to be a critic of Bill O'Reilly and The Factor it is common to try and take in every show.

One critic would be stopped dead in their tracts by the recent insults handed out with such zeal and abundance--angry excitement--the information limit was at the boiling point.

Is it a hatred of women, hatred of people of color, hatred of something he does not understand, that he has to ridicule, humiliate and name call--laugh at--laugh at things and people he cannot understand.....afraid of a new concept--a new look.

Calling Susan Rice a "moron" was it.

This lady is not only extremely accomplished but an official representing our President and our government.

I thought it was just President Obama Bill was so unnerved by but now I fear it may be women.

Following Hillary Clinton forever it is feared the barrage of insults and slurs from this very funny man will be more one can endure.

Actually, it may be his demise if he cannot control his excitement at insulting women and news-rage, his obvious disease.

Insisting our beautiful President, who does not like war and values all of the lives of the citizens of our country--our beautiful coat of many colors--he so very well represents is failing every day and meeting his power end--in fact, the opposite may be true.

It will be the demise of O'Reilly--fueled by his own zeal and hatred.

Like Bill Maher, imbibing in an overdose of their own fame, they over step their bounds believing they can get away with it due to popularity.

Once an insult is dished out--name calling--there is no real answer.  Disagreeing with Sarah Palin most of the time one values her right to speak.  Just asking.....what would have been Governor Palin's response to Bill Maher.  What should be Susan Rice's response to Bill O'Reilly.

Should these women spew back the same kind of retort?

Both of the Bills lost site of their argument once they name called.  It is the end of the political discussion.  They ended it because there is not a response to name calling of the nature they engaged in being out of the realm of the discussion or talking points as Bill so well likes to preach.

No, Bill, you ended it--you went way off your talking points.

You better watch yourself Bill--My Hillary may be the beginning of your end.

The Ronnie Republic--Chloe Louise--Hillary girl forever.

CNN: Find Your Head and Put It On--Piers Morgan Bangs on but not on CNN

Piers Morgan Bangs On:  Apparently not on CNN

scenicroute  6 hours ago

My only real issue with Piers was that (like Bill Maher), he's not a qualified debater - he's an arguer. He talks over his quest's answers in a berating and demeaning way. This is not discussion, it's not debate and it's most certainly not an interview.

Can't believe your saying that about Bill.......as a dem Bill is a ball and chain for the party.  He is a gifted comedian but his insults were out of line...also he was a bully to Ms. Palin.  I don't agree with Sarah but she gets to talk just like Bill...In the long run he was more offensive.  Also, he is a grand self-promoter at others expense.  All the dems are so in love with Bill because he is funny but in reality he uses his humor as a ruthless weapon and, as you said, does not really debate.  Liked Piers, but still miss Larry.

George Strombo was a gifted interviewer........

Strombo was one of the best talk shows out there but they would not run it, instead, endless repeats of AC 360 and Piers......3 times each in one evening...over and over....couldn't they run Strombo once rather 3 of AC and PM.

That's where CNN made their giant mistake...CNN, find your head and put it on.

from the Wrap:

Piers Morgan CNN Show To End Its Run

Piers Morgan CNN Show To End Its Run
New York Times confirms Wrap report from January, saying the show was in trouble
“Piers Morgan Live” will be canceled after a three-year run in CNN’s 9 p.m. news hour, the network confirmed to TheWrap.
“It’s been a painful period and lately we have taken a bath in the ratings,” Morgan told David Carr of the New York Times, who reported that Piers Morgan Live will “probably” see its last episode air this March. Though CNN said no official end date for the show has been determined yet.
TheWrap reported exclusively last month that Morgan’s show was in trouble.
Carr wrote:
Mr. Morgan said that his show, along with much of the rest of CNN, had been imprisoned by the news cycle and that he was interested in doing fewer appearances to greater effect — big, major interviews that would be events in themselves. Although a change has long been rumored, it was the first time that both he, and the CNN executives I talked to, acknowledged that his nightly show was on the way out. Plans for a replacement at the 9 o’clock hour are still underway, but Mr. Morgan and the network are in talks about him remaining at CNN in a different role.
“Piers Morgan Live” has failed to deliver on ratings in the three years since the British host took over the format from Larry King.
CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker has acknowledged multiple times that primetime needs a lot of work, and the ratings-challenged Morgan was a likely target. Morgan damaged himself by taking a strong partisan position against guns during his yearlong coverage of the gun debate, according to network insiders.
For the week of Jan. 6, MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show” topped the time slot with 325,000 viewers in the coveted 25-54 news demographic, while Fox News’ “The Kelly File,” drew 305,000, and “Piers Morgan Tonight,” had 159,000, according to Nielsen.
Morgan’s show has averaged less than half a million total viewers in recent weeks, while competitors draw closer to 1 million, more on par with predecessor Larry King.
Zucker has acknowledged multiple times that primetime needs a lot of work. The view from inside the network is that Morgan damaged himself by taking a strong partisan position against guns during his yearlong coverage of the gun debate.
Morgan acknowledged as much in his comments to Carr: “Look, I am a British guy debating American cultural issues, including guns, which has been very polarizing, and there is no doubt that there are many in the audience who are tired of me banging on about it,” he said. “That’s run its course and Jeff and I have been talking for some time about different ways of using me.”

Bill Maher is the ultimate democratic ball and chain.

Bill Maher is the ultimate democratic ball and chain.
First, he donates his big money to the party as if that gives him leave to open his big mouth and we are obligated to listen due to his generosity.
This is a case of obvious self-promostion not even thinly veiled.
While I do not agree with Mrs. palin she does get to talk. Women in politis are talking these days without fear of a a sexual slur as retaliation.
I have said this sooooo many times. If Bill Maher is such a talented comedian let him find a different way to anser back in disagreement.
If he wants to be funny, fine--politics, fine--but for what he said there was really no answer back. He is disgusting. He effectively ended the conversation.
I would defend Sarah Palin any day--I do not have to agree but I definenitely want to hear what all sides have to say. The political conversation moves things forward.
We are all talking, now, and we all make mistakes.
Shall women not join in the political conversation due to a possible disgusting retribution from Bill.
As a dem.....Bill Maher qualifies as a jerk. Now, Bill, to that you can answer back.

here we go with the newsbusters.......

Jake Tapper Goes Easy on Bill Maher, Omits His History of Defaming Republican Women

CNN's Jake Tapper didn't ask guest Bill Maher once about his vile rhetoric against conservative women in a lengthy, two-segment interview on Friday's The Lead.

Tapper asked all soft questions of the liberal comedian who gave $1 million to President Obama's super PAC in 2012. He also brought up the Lewinsky scandal, which enabled Maher to laud Bill Clinton as "respectable" and a "great guy." This from a man who has a history of despicable vitriol against Republican women.
"Bill Clinton, let's be honest, at some point if you hang around long enough like an old building, they say, you become respectable and that's Bill Clinton now," Maher said. "Somehow the guy, who the Republicans accused of everything from rape to murdering Vince Foster and the most corrupt guy, he's great now. He's a great guy. They love him."
As NewsBusters has documented, Maher has received a warm welcome from the network before, including when Piers Morgan wished he would "remain gloriously uncensored on HBO."

Friday just marked the latest CNN welcome. Tapper asked Maher easy questions about his "new plot" to flip districts, if he would run for Congress, his "favorites for 2016," and his "frustration" with the administration's marijuana policy. Below are Tapper's questions (the question about Monica Lewinsky was incomplete due to a broadcasting issue):
CNN
THE LEAD
2/14/14
[4:35 p.m. EST]

JAKE TAPPER: Why just hurl your comedic barbs from the sidelines when you can directly tamper with how Washington works? Well that's the new game plan, anyway, for liberal comedian Bill Maher host of HBO's Realtime with Bill Maher. He says this year his show will be entering into the exciting world of outright meddling with the political process by working with his fans to flip a district and knock a lawmaker of his audience's choosing out of power. I spoke with Maher and asked him to explain his new plot.
(Video Clip)

TAPPER: So Roll Call, one of the newspapers of Capitol Hill, asked some Republican members of Congress what they thought. Congressman Steve King, Republican of Iowa, he said you should run. He said quote, anybody that would put their name on the ballot is deserving of our respect. So let's see if I can start to respect Bill Maher. That was his thing. And then he said also, then all of the comedians can make fun of you. Have you ever thought about running for office?

TAPPER: So you were active, as you mentioned, in the 2012 election. You gave $1 million to Priorities USA, the pro-Obama super PAC. Do you have any favorites for 2016? Is there anyone you want to see run, not for comedic purposes but for leadership?

TAPPER: I remember a time when you were more of a libertarian and you didn't like either party. Do you think that you have changed in your politics, or do you think the parties have changed?

TAPPER: You're outspoken on the issue of marijuana. The President made headlines recently by saying that marijuana, in his view, is no more dangerous than alcohol. I interviewed him not long ago and I asked him about that. (...) So it is within the power of the Attorney General to change the classification. Are you frustrated, though, more largely, about the President's position on marijuana legalization, or do you support where he is because he has changed a bit?

[Commercial Break]

TAPPER: You're still doing a lot of standup on the weekends, and you've got some dates coming up in some pretty red states. Greenville, Suth Carolina, February 22nd. And at the BJCC Concert Hall in Birmingham, Alabama, on February 23rd. When you go into these red states, how do the audiences receive you?

TAPPER: Finally, what is it like watching all this intense winter weather coverage from sunny Los Angeles?

Bill Maher Gets on His Knees For Sarah Palin

That's right, that is this dems fantasy.

Hey, the lady gets to talk.

Bashing Bill O'Reilly daily, there is just so much material, for a liberal left blog but giving credit where credit was due seemed appropriate.

Bill said on more than one occasion he wanted Mrs. Palin on his show but she just was not willing to take the option.

Who's driving the media car now.......

While Chris Matthews loves to go on about his education, his experience and his intellect he might want  to take time to realize Sarah Palin has the media savvy of Princess Diana--the likes of which he does not.

Who is actually out there in television listening land, who are the folks?  Is it all political Washington zealots like Chris--or do the midwestern conservative moms and cooks prevail.  Let the political conversation move forward with cooks and moms and men and women of both parties.

Bill O'Reilly, in all of his arrogance, apparently realized a change had to take place if he wanted to reach his often stated goal of interviewing Sarah on his show.

Sarah Palin:  sought after by the media......

He knew he had to let her talk without trying to annihilate her as he bragged more than one time about his interview with former New Mexico governor, Bill Richardson.  Is it a wonder why anyone would not want to go on his show.

You have got to keep your mouth shut or you are going to go without.

Well, Bill learned his lesson and Sarah went on his show, talked about her political goals for the Tea Party, what the Tea Party stood for, her recent go-round with MSNBC's Martin Bashir, and also shared her recipes.  Bill gave a chuckle as if that was not important--dem or repub, this lady loves to cook and that's  important info on this blog.

Women get to talk  without a sexual slur--a slur Mr.Maher said, as if he thought he was justified because he was funny.  A statement that had no real answer.  How should Sarah Palin have responded to the horrific thing Bill Maher said.  There was no reasonable response or retaliation and as a lady that loves to talk and say her political opinion it was really resented.

Democratic Ball and Chain, Bill Maher...

Well, will he ever learn?  Will he take a lesson from Bill O'Reilly?  Can he ever be humble and forgo an opportunity for humor.  As if he is not already super funny and successful--was his comment really necessary.  Does Bill Maher realize Sarah Palin is controlling the media now--even with her outrageous statements--isn't that what all the big mouth guys are after, anyway--media attention.

Take a lesson Mr. Maher from you adversary Bill O'Reilly and let's see who can top him in ratings.

That's this dems fantasy--looking for humility from Bill Maher.
