Al Franken For President

Dear Al,

Just wondering if you could throw your

hat in and run for president.

Why.....because

someone was saying on a news reel that no one is

big enough to go against trump's "show" and

unfortunately that is probably true.

It is not about

politics or intelligence or policy, it is more about

withstanding his boxing match and running to

watch the fight.

Everyone can hear trump but not

everyone can hear a politician with big words.

comedian cuts through all of this. Remember your

friend bill o'reilly........it could turn into the same

thing.

Think about it.....you may be the one person

who could effectively go up against him--

figuratively speaking.

Ronnie--Executive Editor at the Ronnie Republic Radio Round-Up:  We thought about it carefully and we have made our decision to go ahead and endorse Al Franken for President of The Unites States.

Radio Host Chip Franklin Holds Up John McCain Photo on Fox in ‘Off-The Rails’ Moment

Radio Host Chip Franklin Holds Up John McCain Photo on Fox in ‘Off-The Rails’ Moment

Radio host Chip Franklin briefly derailed a Fox News segment by holding up a photo of the late Sen. John McCain in reference to reports that President Donald Trump’s administration ordered the ship named in his honor to be covered.
Anchor Leland Vittert asked why Franklin was holding up a picture of McCain silently while he was speaking with another panelist.
“In the off chance the president is watching, it’s to remind him of the real heroes of this country,” Franklin responded.
Vittert cut him off and shook his hands.
“Alright, this went off-the-rails,” Vittert said, ending the segment.
Franklin later posted a follow-up tweet, saying the demonstration was in reference to earlier comments by acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney about the USS John McCain’s covering.
“The president’s feelings about the former senator are well-known, the fact that a low-level person might have asked the question shouldn’t surprise anybody. We think it’s much ado about nothing,” Mulvaney told Fox’s Chris Wallace earlier Sunday.

Fighting Kavanaugh on The Bill Press Show on @TheRonnieRe- September 28, 2018

Kavanaugh, the quintessential entitled white man cannot even answer questions honestly about his past behavior.

It is always the rough neck abusers of women that also want to curtail the reproductive rights of women.

Let's talk donald trump and bill o'reily as examples.

Boys, we're not having it that way in this day and age.

Richard Painter Talks Charlottesville Violence and Racism Permeating the trump White house: Well Done, Richard

Richard Painter Demands Trump Fire Seb Gorka and Steve Bannon Over Charlottesville Violence

With violent clashes breaking out today at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, former George W. Bush ethics lawyer and longtime Republican Richard Painter spoke out forcefully against the White House and his belief that the Trump administration has fed into racist rhetoric.
Appearing on MSNBC as the network reported on the violence at the “Unite the Right” rally, Painter took aim at the former Breitbartemployees who are now in the White House, tying the publication’s association with the alt-right to the events going on in Virginia today. And thus stating President Donald Trump needs to rid his administration of anyone tied to Breitbart.
“We are not the party of fascism in America and we are going to have to reject this,” Painter exclaimed. “We need to demand today that president trump fires Sebastian Gorka, Steve Bannon, all the other alt-right neofascists in the White House.”
Bannon, the current White House chief strategist, was the CEO of Breitbart News before joining the Trump campaign last year. Gorka, a deputy assistant to the president, also came over from Breitbart, where he served as an editor.
Painter added, “This is Breitbart News what you’re watching on the streets of Charlottesville and as a Republican — I will remain a Republican but not support fascism — and call for the impeachment if he does not fire the neofascists in his White House immediately.”
Later in the segment, he railed against Breitbart some more, calling it a racist organization while once again calling for the president’s removal if he doesn’t remove Gorka and Bannon from the White House.

Jamie Foxx, Jim Carrey rally around Kathy Griffin

(CNN)Kathy Griffin's comedic cohorts are rallying around her after a controversial photo sparked outrage from critics who thought the comedienne took it too far.
Griffin has been caught in a firestorm of criticism over photos published earlier this week that shows her holding up a bloody head resembling that of President Trump.
Griffin released a video apology about the incident.
But that didn't stop the backlash, which came from both conservatives and liberals. CNN fired her as co-host of the network's annual New Year's Eve program.
"Shazam" host Jamie Foxx told Entertainment Tonight on Thursday "as comedians sometimes you do go beyond, past the line."
"I still love Kathy Griffin," Foxx said. "She went past the line, she'll pay for it in the way she pays for it, and we'll go out and we'll laugh with her again."
"Don't kill the comedian," Foxx added. "There's a lot of people out here doing really bad things and every time a comedian says anything, says something about peanuts, [people say], 'You're peanut-shaming!' [A comedian] says something about dolphins [people say], 'Oh my god, you're a dolphin-shamer.' We're the comics, we're entertainers, we don't mean any harm."
Actor Jim Carrey agrees.
At the premiere of the Showtime comedy "I'm Dying Up Here" on Wednesday, Carrey also spoke to "Entertainment Tonight" about the controversy.
"I think it is the job of a comedian to cross the line at all times, because that line is not real," Carrey said. "If you step out into that spotlight and you're doing the crazy things that [Trump] is doing, we're the last line of defense. And really, comedians are the last voice of truth in this whole thing."
Sen. Al Franken, who rose to fame as a comic and cast member on "Saturday Night Live," told CNN he plans to appear with Griffin in a few weeks as part of a promotional tour for his new book.
He said he believes the comic can come back from the controversy.
"Kathy's a friend and she's a terrific comedian, but this had no business being in our public discourse," Franken said. "And I talked to her. She has apologized -- a real, fulsome apology. She's actually begged for forgiveness, and I believe in forgiveness."
Attorney Lisa Bloom tweeted on Thursday night that she will be representing Griffin. The pair will hold a press conference on Friday to talk about the impetus for the photo and the "bullying from the Trump family."

Christina Wilkie from the Huff Po describes the Winter Of Our Discontent on the The Bill Press Show - January 24, 2017

The Winter Of Our Discontent............

Christina Wilkie, White House reporter for the Huffington Post accurately describes the tragedy playing out in real time in the donald trump White House.

She talked about the people around the donald parsing the truth in order to get a few rays of sun from their beloved leader.

The investigative reporting will be our view into reality for the general public.

While we may not get the facts from donald's house and his sycophant staff we still have quality reporting out there and folks like Christina Wilkie that will take time to accurately go through every statement given by this gang of ultra right wing conservatives in order for the general public to know the what is actually happening.

This blogger's thing.......

My Grandmother went to the 8th grade.  She shouted at me every day to get an education.  She was so proud of her driver's license and her job of selling notions at a department store but ultimately she had to give this up to raise children and spend her life with an abusive alcoholic.

Yes, she loved this sometimes loving Jekyll and Hyde anyway but the point is she did not have any choices.

Here we have Bill O'Reilly and the donald running around chasing women then saying they didn't do it but the woman does not have any choices about having children or not, about having a positive future or not.

Readers it is about having the education and the choice and the ability to make a decision not to live under of fist of a controlling individual.
