I've copied this class information from the internet and pasted it in my blog.  I can see from my search stats many people are looking for it.  I would also like to take this class but I do not know if I am qualified.  As I have said many times I am getting pretty good at constructing a shirt but it is not even close to the "fine" category.

I am going to go and see this place.

WINTER CLASSES
for Adults

ADULT FALL CLASSES

Adult classes are open to people ages 13 and older while the minimum age for Sewing Labs and Open Sewing Labs is 8. By registering for a class it is assumed you have read and agree to the Lounge's Registration and Cancellation Policies.

Fine Shirt Making

A fine shirt is a classic dress shirt made by using the traditional methods of fine tailors around the world. Students will take a typical shirt pattern and elevate construction methods to the highest level, employing techniques used to assemble the most exquisite custom-made dress shirts rather than follow pattern instructions. The techniques you learn in this class can be applied to other types of clothing thus enhancing your garment construction skills. Please note the following:
•This is an intensive five-session class with additional work required outside of each class to complete a fine shirt.
•Students must use an appropriate instructor-approved pattern which they will alter for fine tailoring techniques.
•This is a class for intermediate to advanced sewers. Students MUST be familiar with reading a pattern, adjusting tension and, in particular, precision sewing.
Minimum Skill Level: Intermediate
Times: September 25 & October 2, 9, 16 and 23 from 6 - 9 (4 openings) or
October 10, 17, 24, 31 and November 7 from 10 - 1 (2 openings)
Cost: $180

My Sewing Obsession--The Bobbin House Studio in Minneapolis

from THE SEWING HERALD TRIBUNE..a newspaper about sewing..we need contributors!!!

I contacted Steve Pauling from The Bobbin House Studio in Minneapolis about a possible apprenticeship in fine shirt making.

Right--I can make a shirt--it is not very fine.  Really, I can never get my stitches right on the collar stand.  If one more person tells me I need practice I don't know what I am going to do--I have an amazing inability to drive the sewing machine.  Perhaps its time to buy the edge stitch foot.
I could not resist putting his reply on my blog--I really want to go there.  I hope you don't mind, Steve.....
can you please tell us a little bit more about your place.....
Thank you for your kindness,
Chloe Louise
Hi Chloe,
Thanks for contacting me regarding your interest in fine shirt making. It's always a please to meet another person interested in this artisan skill that seems to fade away more every year. My apologies for the delay in responding. I've been out of town for a few weeks.

How do you envision I might be able to assist you?  Are you interested in coming to Minneapolis for a class or visit? I offer a three day intensive where one or two students will stay in our Bobbin House Guest Suite and then have an extended mentoring session on shirt making. Think of it as a sewing retreat focused on shirt making!  Please see the Bobbin House Studio website noted below for more information.

Developing a personal plan requires some knowledge of your current skill sets and interests. My suggestion is to first learn construction/assembly techniques by modification of a commercial pattern. Once these skills are mastered, then move on to design, draping and pattern drafting of custom shirts.

I look forward to your reply and learning how I might be of assistance to you.

Cheers!
Steve
