Eloquent Speaker Starr Jones on Piers Morgan Tonight

I hope every one can have the opportunity to hear Starr Jones talk about Rachel Jeantel this evening on the Piers Morgan Show on CNN.  She is telling us about the history of this witness, her upbringing and also reviewing the fact to everyone that she is a child.  Starr is asking women to stick together on this kind of thing and not have a "mean girl" response to this individual who was obviously testifying under conditions that were very stressful to her--stressful, unusual and definitely unfamiliar.

Thank you Starr, for taking time to go on national television and talking in a way that is so enlightening for each person that has a chance to listen.

Rachel was a witness this week in the case of Trayvon Martin.

maybe we can have a vote or something...we can write about it and talk about it....could we be moms against guns...the more we talk about it, write about it and do anything about it the more new and good ideas will come to the forefront to solve the situation.

I know there are many groups against guns, now, but I am thinking MADD, Mothers Against Drunk Driving has has many positive outcomes--it is easy to hear and remember.

Jeremy Irons made a doc about trash...he is a big name with a real good voice.....

sometimes that is what it takes......a famous person that everyone easily sees and hears.....to tell the thing in a simple way........something we all can easily do to solve the problem.

We do not have to do much but we can each do our own little bit.

Would that work with guns?

Maybe Jeremy could make a doc about guns in the UK.  There are not guns in the big, beautiful city of London.....

How do they survive without guns?

I would like to know that answer......could we use some of their ideas here in the US.

How many kids died from guns there last year?

How many kids died in Chicago last year from guns.

Could Piers Morgan make a doc about guns?  Life in the UK versus life in the US, with and without guns.  I would love to hear from law enforcement in the UK--how to they feel--what is their opinion of the situation.

Gun Facts: Is the UK Real or a Disney Fairy Tale

I think part of the problem is that there is a certain group of the American public that wants to keep us, the United States, as if we are still the wild, wild west.  I f you follow Piers Morgan at all, the gun people will not even listen when he tries to talk about gun facts in the UK.

My OR co-workers from the UK stated they simply did not have gun shot wounds there in their ER.  At the time we had a 15 year old with a gun shot wound.  The trouble is when Piers says "UK" I feel like people think that may be talking about a UFO or another planet.

If you listen to the right wingers not only do they think America is a great country but they think it is the only country and when anyone says anything about Europe they act like its just silly info.

One talk show host here in San Diego said if he ever went to England he is going to go there and spend American dollars.  I guess he had not heard of the pound or the Swiss Franc or the Euro.  He said American money is what everyone wants and that will trade anywhere.  Just this morning another conservative host was giggling about facts from the Daily Mail about less violence in Europe.

It seems like they simply refuse to believe the truth.  I don't think they think Europe is real.  They act as if it is a Disney fairy tale.
