We Need a Few More Students: Fashion Classes at San Diego Community College

Regards Fashion Students and community.
We are trying to get a few more students in the following classes, as they
are at risk of being canceled.
Yes, they were new courses, added at the last minute, but we would really
like to see them go. If you took an Add Code, you need to process it by
tonight, and if you are interested to join the class, please email the
instructors today and process an Add. Decisions will be made tomorrow
morning about whether the classes will run or not. Talk to you friends,
encourage other students to take these courses.

It seemed like John B. Wells was extremely popular by the comments of many callers.

Perhaps some of his show themes were a bit too controversial?

What do you think.

Is Coast to Coast Am a big part of your life--I listen to Coast to Coast AM every evening. It is one of my best shows and sometimes better than television. Sometimes there is just nothing on the television.

It's not about agreeing or disagreeing with the topic it is just kind of fun to hear people call in and say their opinion.

Coast to Coast serves as a great friend to very many people--it is a big part of their day and something they can count on.

But what about Art Bell and his recent return to radio, suddenly ending and then some comments about George Noory and the show going a direction he did not think were appropriate.

Do you have an opinion about Art Bell.

As House Republicans prepare to sell out the country on immigration this week, Phyllis Schlafly has produced a stunning report on how immigration is changing the country. The report is still embargoed, but someone slipped me a copy, and it's too important to wait.

Leave aside the harm cheap labor being dumped on the country does to the millions of unemployed Americans. What does it mean for the Republican Party?

Citing surveys from the Pew Research Center, the Pew Hispanic Center, Gallup, NBC News, Harris polling, the Annenberg Policy Center, Latino Decisions, the Center for Immigration Studies and the Hudson Institute, Schlafly's report overwhelmingly demonstrates that merely continuing our current immigration policies spells doom for the Republican Party.

Immigrants -- all immigrants -- have always been the bulwark of the Democratic Party. For one thing, recent arrivals tend to be poor and in need of government assistance. Also, they're coming from societies that are far more left-wing than our own. History shows that, rather than fleeing those policies, they bring their cultures with them. (Look at what New Yorkers did to Vermont.)

This is not a secret. For at least a century, there's never been a period when a majority of immigrants weren't Democrats.

At the current accelerated rate of immigration -- 1.1 million new immigrants every year -- Republicans will be a fringe party in about a decade.

Thanks to endless polling, we have a pretty good idea of what most immigrants believe.

According to a Harris poll, 81 percent of native-born citizens think the schools should teach students to be proud of being American. Only 50 percent of naturalized U.S. citizens do.

While 67 percent of native-born Americans believe our Constitution is a higher legal authority than international law, only 37 percent of naturalized citizens agree.

No wonder they vote 2-1 for the Democrats.

John B. Wells, Saturday host of Coast to Coast AM, is a veteran radio host and voice actor with credits ranging from radio stations and TV shows, to movies and advertisements, on all seven continents.

Upon graduating from TCU with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts and an emphasis in theater, he took a part-time job at the legendary KZEW-FM/Dallas-Ft. Worth, where within less than a year, he moved into the afternoon drive slot and posted record ratings. Soon after, Wells left to pursue a full-time career doing voiceovers. During that time, he voiced imaging promos for New York’s WCBS Newsradio 88, where he spent nearly 10 years, followed by WNEW-FM; Los Angeles’ KLOS-FM and KROQ-FM; Detroit’s WWJ-AM; Chicago’s WBBM-AM/TV; San Francisco’s KRON-TV; Dallas’ WFAA-TV, KRLD-AM and KZPS-FM; Houston’s KLOL-FM, KHOU-TV and KPRC-AM; Miami’s WBGG-FM; and the Armed Forces Radio Network. We heard the sad news this past weekend that John B. Wells will be leaving Coast to Coast AM.

From time to time he could be very controversial but he was always interesting and conducted a very good show and quality radio listening.

What would we do without Coast to Coast, all of the unusual guests to hold our attention through the night when we cannot sleep.

What about George Noory always being there on the holidays--we can always count on him for a friendly voice in the evening to counteract the holiday stress and strain.

Today's Daily-Bible-Reading is from Psalm 116:1-9. The Psalmist declares his love for the LORD because God hears and answers his prayers. He proclaims that he will call on the name of the LORD as long as he lives because the LORD listens to him. He cried out to the LORD to deliver his soul. Do you spend time daily praying to the LORD?
The LORD is gracious, merciful, and righteous. The LORD preserves the simple. The Psalmist says he was brought low and the LORD helped him. Have you ever been in this position?

He says the LORD has delivered his soul from death, his eyes from tears, and his feet from falling. The Psalmist declares his soul can rest because the LORD has dealt with him favorably. He declares he will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
