At over 4 million acres, Katmai National Park and Preserve is a vast landscape, full of alpine tundra, volcanic and glacial features, sedge meadows, spruce forests and more. It also contains nearly 500 miles of coastline and today, we are talking about one of Katmai’s most enigmatic creatures- the wolves of coastal Katmai.
Thank you to Ranger Lian Law and researcher Ellen Dymit for taking time to chat with us and share this very important information about bears and wolves in The Katmai National Park.
These individuals are two very important role models for women today and for anyone interested in our planet.
