Geraldo Rivera beautifully Defends Al Sharpton to O'Reilly

Geraldo Rivera beautifully defends Al Sharpton to O'Reilly and Bill almost "goes O'Reilly."

That would be this evening  on Fox News and The Factor.

Just wondering Bill, what actually is your problem with Al Sharpton?

Could it be Al Sharpton is able to talk with people and represent them well.  Could it be Reverend Sharpton has compassion and promotes non-violence but still keeps working tirelessly for equality for all.

Could it be Bill O'Reilly is completely out of touch.

If Bill would bother to really listen to Al Sharpton he would see that he has offered very soothing words to many people in this time of anger in our country.

To put it mildly--Al Sharpton is culturally sensitive--Bill is not.

Bill, you could try to listen and understand.  I dare you.  You could give Al Sharpton credit, but them you would have to admit there may be a problem with equality in our society.  We can work on the problem, you can too, Bill.  You may have to go away from your current platform and become enlightened.

Come on, Bill, you can do it.

Thank you Geraldo, that was a good job.

Geraldo Battles Bill O’Reilly Over Whether Al Sharpton Is ‘Exploiting Trayvon Martin’s Death’

VIDEO» 8 comments
Geraldo Rivera may not like how Al Sharpton‘slobbying forced the “weak” case against George Zimmerman, but on Bill O’Reilly‘s show tonight against the idea that Sharpton’s been exploiting the case and Trayvon Martin‘s death for his own benefit. They clashed a bit when O’Reilly continued pressing Rivera to give a straight answer on whether his motives are pure or not.
O’Reilly declared that people have had enough of Sharpton, showing a clip of him saying that Stand Your Ground laws need to be repealed in order to prevent future Trayvon Martins. O’Reilly told Rivera the perception of Sharpton is that he’s a “selective cherry-picker who’s doing this for his own self-aggrandizement.” Rivera defended Sharpton as the “premiere civil rights activist of the 21st century” and called him a fair man who brings national attention to important minority issues.
O’Reilly directly asked him, “Is he exploiting Trayvon Martin’s death or is he analyzing it in a fair way.” Rivera started to answer that Sharpton latched onto an issue that touched a nerve with the black community, but O’Reilly interjected to say he was “dancing,” pressing him further to answer.
Rivera allowed that Sharpton is “exploiting” the case in the sense that he is commercially bringing it into the limelight, but continued to defend his motivations in doing so. O’Reilly skeptically asked if Sharpton’s motives are pure. Rivera shot back that they’re “much more pure than you give him credit for.”

bill o'reilly: The Ugly American

chb1zapu
bill o'reilly:  American Embarrassment
No Spin...that would be no spin according to the "truth" of bill o'reilly
Problem:  o'reilly's "truth" is "spin."
o'reilly's facts are just plain wrong
Yes, I am happy to give an example.......
Just last evening he said, after he yelled at another expert on the Islamic religion, the people of Afghanistan do not know anything.....he went on further to insult the individuals who have traditionally called Afghanistan their home.

Really, it was quite embarrassing.....He is the epitome of the ugly American.
My friend from Afghanistan, a lady with whom I worked for many years, a lady who was very knowledgeable, a lady who I felt honored to know.........
In her former life in Afghanistan she was a professor of pharmacy, then she was also a professor of pharmacy in Paris.
One time her son was stopped and held for a very long time at the JFK Airport in New York City.  Since he was innocent of any kind of terrorism he was released but she did remain angry.
It was not that she was not appreciative of the United States, but she would have rather been in her home country, however, that was not possible due to unrest.
It is a complicated situation.
Recently, I have seen two individuals attempt to explain facts about the people of the Muslim faith to bill but he just is not having it.  It's always the same thing.  Just the facts as long as the guest agrees with bill--if not the sit. easily turns into a shouting match.
Bill, let's try to get all of the facts--not just "bill o'reilly" facts.  If you really love America so much try not to be soooooo embarrassing to this place we all call home.
The Ugly American...bill o'reilly......

Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity's secret phone call as they praise rush limbaugh and make plans to join his 12 step program for ROWGS.

The liberal limbawdian fantasy continues...........by chloe louise

Well, apparently the mobile was hacked and the contents of the phone call were leaked to the media by an unidentified source:

"Sean," Bill confided, "What do you think we should do, we are losing numbers in that blasted rating system and rush is all over the place after he rode in that darn Rose Parade with Nancy Pelosi."

"The whole thing was so stupid and rush ate it right up, they should have had me in the parade with my banner Taking Back America on each side of the car.  Rush is just a sell-out now." sean cried.

"I know hannity, but its working for him--that's the spin, that's the zone its spinning in."

It has previously been leaked in a different call that o'reilly really wanted to ride in the parade with no spin zone pasted on each side of the car

"Well, Sean, what should we do, should we join him, I don't think for a second he buys into that garbage, being nice to women and all that, the thing is the public is buying into that stuff---it's the trend right now, it will change next week," Bill whined.

"But do you think we should act like we are in on it or what--we're losing all our numbers and rush is getting everything," Sean agreed.

"I'm mad because everyone knows rush doesn't even like parades--I've always been a parade person."

"Well, I have, too.  If we joined up we could ride in the parade, too."

"Sean, I am not riding in a second car......my car is equal to rush or I'm not doing it.  I'm not being in a second car or in the back seat to rush."

"Bill, I want a better car than rush, and equal lanes--side by side exactly--I'm not riding one inch behind!"

It's said by anon. sources that they will be making the announcement to join the program soon.  It will be a formal statement by their publicity group and it willl focus on their goal to turn around the republican party and focus on women--there will be no mention made of ratings or rush's new-found popularity, what so ever. A bid will be put in for them to appear on The View or Oprah--they'll make it heart-felt.

Bill will tank up on tranquillizers before Oprah or Barbara  grill him.....just to prevent spiraling into a Laura Ingraham type incident.

And the world was a better place.

Bill O'Reilly--Crusin' for a Brusin'

taking bets.....who will lay out bill o. first, James or Mary?  Mary does not suffer fools easily........need I say more?

I think James is trying to hold back and not embarrass bill right off the bat, maybe he will cut him a little slack until he can't stand it any longer........

But what about Mary Matalin...I have never seen her take it from anyone.   She knows  her  facts and she knows  the point she  is trying to make expertly.......it's just a matter if time.....

I'm saying it's  just a waiting game before she has  to straighten out the facts according to Bill O'Reilly.

On the other hand James Carville just can't get on the air of his new  channel, Fox News, and lay Bill O'Reilly out the first  day.....how long can  James suffer morality according to bill O?

What do you think?

Right now my money is on Mary but I do think we  have to wait  just a little while  to see what happens before the fighting begins.

I just can't see Mary Matalin putting up with the condescending Bill O. regardless of his political party.

here is a little hint from mediaite:

O’Reilly And Carville Clash Over Whether Clinton Cared More About Economy, Debt Than Obama Does

VIDEO» 90 comments

Bill O’Reilly continued his theme of what the biggest problem facing the country today is withJames Carville. Carville cited a general economic trend downward since the 1970s and unemployment. After a brief clash, O’Reilly brought up Carville’s former boss, Bill Clinton, and challenged him on the difference in economic outlook between Clinton and President Obama. Carville disputed that, saying their only major difference is on style.
Carville said that the economy is slowly but steadily improving, which led to him and O’Reilly briefly clashing over exactly how much better the economy is getting and exactly where health care cuts are coming from.
O’Reilly then turned to the Clinton issue, saying that the former Democratic president had a “very responsible fiscal policy” and didn’t try to “micromanage” the private sector. He accused Obama of being the biggest spending president in history and claimed at least Clinton cared more about the national debt. Carville argued that a key difference between the two presidencies is that the economy was starting to grow when Clinton got into office, but not with Obama.
But Carville maintained that by and large Clinton and Obama have similar economic beliefs. He said both favor raising taxes on the wealthy, both worked on getting health care reform done, and both signed free trade agreements. If anything, Carville said, the only difference between them is on style. O’Reilly insisted they have a fundamentally different economic philosophy. Carville pushed back, saying that Obama most likely just believes in “aggressive government during a downturn.”
