Just wondering........when Bill O says he is the only one listening to the folks what do you think he is talking about.

He came here to San Diego and the prices were 97.00 to 142.00 for regular tickets. For the meet and greet with him and Dennis Miller it was 539.00.

Do you think those are the people he is constantly referring to as "the folks."

He again said last evening he meets people all over the country who are very angry about Obama care.

Does he ever talk to all of the other folks who want health care and who voted for President Obama.

Juan Williams tried to tell him this but he immediately shut him down and would not listen to his facts.

I am thinking that he imagines the 539.00 payers he meets on the Bolder and Fresher gig are the folks.

Does he think this group represents the common people as you have indicated. Well, what do you think.........Just who are these so called "folks".......

Bill is always claiming his show is one of the few in the media that actually base their points on the facts.  I think his interpretations of "the folks" are a fact that he has incorrect.

Claiming "the spin stops here" arrogantly and nightly.......based on our President, and his ideas and accomplishments......wouldn't this be an area where Bill is incorrect...going on the fact that President Obama was elected and re-elected.  Bill is incorrectly discounting this very large group of people in his statement.

my response to Kingfish17 on Newsbusters.......talking about Geraldo Rivera in favor of health care for everyone.

Raymond Loewy: How his designs defined the modern era

The Studebaker Avanti, Shell Oil logo, and Sears Coldspot refrigerator were all the creations of the iconic industrial designer, Raymond Loewy, whose work spanned 70 years and is honored today by a Google Doodle.

The "Father of Industrial Design", Raymond Loewy, designed countless iconic products and is honored today by Google.

In the middle of the 20th century, consumer brands became the symbol of the good life, a nod to technological advancement and peace between years of conflict. Smart branding and products, such as the Shell Oil logo, Studebaker Avanti, and Coca Cola vending machines found a permanent home in consumer history.

And one man’s pen stood behind many of these iconic designs: the pragmatic, yet forward thinking industrial designer Raymond Loewy. Mr. Loewy’s timeless designs are immortalized today in a Google Doodle, paying homage to his partnership with Pennsylvania Railroad, and the 120th anniversary of his birth.
Loewy was born in Paris on November 5, 1893. He served in the French army in World War I and came toAmerica shortly after the war. He lived in New York City, designing windows for Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue, and providing fashion illustrations for Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar magazines. His first big break in the industrial design world came when he designed the Sears Coldspot refrigerator in the '30s, which, with its aluminum shelves and round-edged design, quickly became the icebox du jour.
From there his 60-year career took off spawning hundreds of consumer designs that ended up in the daily lives of consumers across America. Whether it was creating brand logos that remain in place today, such as Exxon Mobil and Shell Oil, or consumer packaging that convinced millions of consumers to purchase products, such as the Lucky Strikes white package and Schick electric razor, his designs were known as simple and fashionable, but most importantly, customer-friendly.
"The main goal is not to complicate the already difficult life of the consumer," he once said.
His designs even accompanied Americans out of this world. From 1967 to 1973 he consulted for NASA’s Saturn-Apollo and Skylab projects, pioneering a porthole that looked toward Earth and designs that simulated gravity.
Though the aesthetic of his products brought him fame, his partnerships with certain companies rocketed his work to true icon status.
He was behind the Greyhound Scenicruiser, the Studebaker Champion and Avanti, and designed four Pennsylvania Railroad locomotives at the height of train travel, as referenced in Tuesday's Doodle. Loewy also worked with the federal government, designing the blue, white, and chrome livery on Air Force One and the United States Postal Service’s eagle logo.
This work earned him a place on the cover of Time Magazine in 1949. After an extensive career, Loewy retired in 1980 and died in 1986. But, as New York Times reporter Susan Heller wrote, his designs are nearly everywhere one looks.
"One can hardly open a beer or a soft drink, fix breakfast, board a plane, buy gas, mail a letter or shop for an appliance without encountering a Loewy creation," she wrote.

Diversity of Views at Fox News: Geraldo Rivera Proclaims 'I'm for Single Payer' Systems Like Sweden

Who says the Fox News Channel is all conservatives? Sometimes, its employees are socialists who want America to be more like Sweden.

Take Geraldo Rivera on his radio show on Friday. When a caller complained he wasn't extolling the positives of Obamacare, he said the program is “deeply flawed” because “we let the insurance industry write the legislation,” when he prefers a “single payer” government-dominated health care system like Sweden or Canada, where private insurance is banned.

RIVERA: It’s great to have health care. I want everyone to have health care. I want single payer, I want Medicare for everybody. I want it to be like Sweden. I want it to be like the United Kingdom or Canada. I want everyone to have health care. This program [Obamacare], though, is deeply flawed, and I think part of the problem is [that] we let the insurance industry write the legislation, and when the insurance industry, like they did for the prescription plan, Part B [sic], when they write the legislation, they stack the deck so they're the beneficiaries.

It makes sense. If I was in the insurance industry, I'd do the same thing. You write a law that makes people have to come to you. And then when they come to you, you can charge them what the market will bear, and when the market is mandatory, it bears a whole lot more than when the market is voluntary.
But can’t this also describe putting the politicians in charge of a government-run health care program? “You write a law that makes people have to come to you”?

Geraldo Watch Monday..Geraldo Sucessfully Defuses Ann Coulter

Geraldo Watch Monday..Geraldo Successfully Defuses Ann Coulter

Geraldo Rivera on his WABC morning radio show successfully defuses ticking time bomb and anti-girl girl Ann Coulter.

Yes, Ann was going on in her usual trumped up false facts and trying to stir up everyone into a dither only for her own self-promotion about abortion and Obama care.

Geraldo immediately sensed her outer-space antics and toned her down quick by politely saying I don't think so, Ann, and you might want to check your facts on that statement.  Geraldo actually said it twice--he was polite and soft-spoken yet did not let her go on with her tea-party fantasies.

Ann, women today want to have health care and we want to have a choice about when to have children.  We love children but we want a choice.  Because we want to have say so about our health and our child bearing decisions does not mean we are communists.

The cool thing about Obama care--health care and choice for all women, all lifestyles of women and economic levels--this is a good thing.

Thank you to President Obama and to Geraldo Rivera for not getting sucked in to this caustic dividing tea party bish bash.

The walking dead branch of the republican party lead by zombie queen an coulter, successfully defused by the Fox News token sane person, Geraldo Rivera.

Good luck to the repubs--just a tip...I'd take Chris Christie and lose the trumped tea party entourage to repub dead queen, ann, and cruz control ted...a little more towards center may lead the way to success.
