Can you help my friends in Bethlehem--they need a home, too.

Folks, my mom gave me a home and honestly, I have had very good fortune and I would like to pay it forward.

There are some real good kids out there in the area of Bethlehem and they need a home, too.

It is just a little bit more difficult for them to find a place to stay because unlike San Diego and Los Angeles they are not surrounded by huge cities and giant countries with plenty of prospective parents just waiting to bring an individual into their house.

Like me, these guys are not only good looking but they, too, have sensational personalities....seriously!

There is a lady there, Diana George Babish, and she has made a special house just for us......but here is the thing--there is just too many of us that need a home.

If you are heading over to Tel Aviv, let her know--we are all ready to go.

We are chipped, healthy, we have our passports and we are all set to go home with you.

My Beautiful Friends (Dogs) in Jenin #LovePalestine

Touring the countryside of Palestine with Bike Palestine, enjoying the history, the food, the olive groves and almond orchards one could not help but notice the stray dogs.

Why are all of these dogs just hanging around all by themselves out in the country?

After barking all night at our hotel in Jenin taking pictures at 6 AM was mandatory.

I will never get this guy out of my mind.......

He was young and he was friendly but he had to keep sitting down.

They were waiting for breakfast.

This is his friend.

This lovely gentleman is his friend, too.

Chuch is almost 5 years old, vaccinated and neutered. Gets along with kids and some of the dogs.
He will be a great family dog.

צ'וץ המקסים עדיין מחפש בית. כבר 4 שנים שצ'וץ אצלנו בכלביה. כלב מקסים וחברותי לבני אדם. מחונך לבית ואוהב ילדים.
הבעיה היחידה של צ'וץ היא שיש כלבים שהוא לא מסתדר איתם, להרבה אנשים זה מאד מפריע (על אף שזה די נפוץ, בטח לכלב שלא הורגל לכלבים אחרים בצורה מסודרת) .
יש לו גם הרבה חברים על ארבע מבין ותיקי הכלביה שהוא כן נהנה לשחק עימם. צ'וץ רק צריך צ'אנס. הוא כבן 5 וכבר הגיע הזמן שיצא מהכלביה ואת השבוע הזה יבלה כבר בבית.

  Hajja,the stray friendly dog whom we saw roaming on the streets and brought to the clinic to be fixed. She is happy to have the new collar Kyle has donated. We thank Kyle Delaney , who donated 25 collars and 100 leashes . He is a remarkable person, he donated before dogs and cats food with his friend Tala , and today he brought this amazing present to our precious doggies. @telyou01

Calling All the Dog People Out There: This Lovely Lady Needs a Home! #LovePalestine

Just wanted to tell everyone about Diana George Babish and her animal shelter just outside of Bethlehem in Beit Sahour.

I visited there this year as part of my side trip with Bike Palestine. She is having a large problem right now because the government officials are in the process of closing her shelter.

She has saved hundreds of dogs and cats from abuse and hunger and abandonment.

As you may know, there is a huge issue in the region with stray dogs. I noticed this on my first trip to Palestine and one of our guides said that the people there are struggling so hard with the activities of daily living there just is not a focus on animals.

The shelter is really doing God's work because not only are they isolated by land but they are also isolated by politics, as well.

Another problem is that there is not a government council such as a humane society or animal protection.

Many dogs are abandoned and end up forming packs that roam the city. The animals cannot survive in this way and sadly, once in a while they attack a child.

She has the only animal shelter in the West Bank and right now she needs all of the help she can get.

If anyone out there has any suggestions for helping or can adopt any dog or cat this would save the life of an animal.

She easily provides documents, crates and instructions--hundreds of her rescued dogs have been adopted all over the world.
