Where in the World is Geraldo Rivera

Seriously, the man who did his show today gave out false information......

What's up with that?

I guess everyone knows Geraldo is doing a show with the Donald but it's time for him to come back.

Yesterday the guy got real mad and purposely picked a fight with a real nice lady.....then today he tried to say President Obama never mentioned terrorism associated with the Benghazi incident.

Remember........Mitt Romney, Candy Crowley.......the debate.

Enough already with the yelling and bad information.

We want Geraldo.

Hello.......Geraldo.......are you out there......it's time to come home.

Bill O'Reilly gets that funny Loser Look after James Carville Schools him on Winning Elections

Bill O'Reilly says horrible things every night--how can he still be on television.  Trying to understand not only why he says those things but even more perplexing....why is he so popular.   fortunately President Obama and his ideas are more popular as is evidenced by his last two elections.  One of the commenters suggested Bill may quit for money but it seems like his ultimate goal is to talk and his ego and promoting his life style for everyone and his idea of religion--often his theme is his love of his own cherished Catholic guilt.

Zeke Emanuel stated it correctly actually to him, that when he could use his podium to distribute information he uses it to stir up fear for his own gain...........but really,.....think about it......why..........that's what I don't get.........is he a pure racist at heart?

I really think that he believes that if everyone, of all colors and lifestyles, would simply just listen to him and follow his religious ideas and beliefs everything would be just fine.

Nothing is complex to him....the man is a simpleton.

Last evening he again harped on the idea that President Obama should shut down the Russian financial system....close it down completely......have MasterCard and all banks refuse interaction with Russian money.  First, does President Obama run Mastercharge and the banks........what would an act like that do to the stock market?  He has embarrassed himself many times like when he suggested someone was setting the price of gas and he was going to find out who it was.  Right, he told this to the vice-president of the commodities exchange who had recently written an book and tried to explain to him that the price was set by the commodity traders.

He also refuses to listen when the facts are right in front of him.........he goes on about Beyonce endlessly........seriously, as if he is not enjoying her vids, but refuses to acknowledge the good work of Snoop with his football team in Long Beach.  he shook hands with Snoop at the Kennedy Center honors.........

Wouldn't Snoop know more about the issues of the inner-city than Bill?

What do you think?   Why is he so popular?

Fortunately, we have people like James Carville, on the factor last evening to hand him a can of whoop-ass once in a while--Bill insisted we only need a person like Ronald Reagan with the right amount of charisma, for the repubs to win again.  James suggested it's no longer just the rich old white guys voting now--Bill did have that real funny loser look on his face at the end of the conversation.

James Carville Hands Bill O'Reilly a Can of Whoop-Ass on The Factor Tonight

Tonight on the Factor.......

Guest James Carville attempts to explain to the "O" man why the repubs have lost the last 7 elections.

Bill had to argue........

Seriously, as if Bill had actually runs elections and campaigns and James hasn't.

Maybe Bill forgot.......James might know what he talking about on this one......Hello--Bill Cinton did win the election.

Bill tries to hang tough and tells James.....no, its not that we are all old white men out of touch.....its ideology and I admit the young people just do not get it.

James went on.....schooling Bill he mentioned minimum wage, health care, the economy, immigration.........

Bill remained a hard headed student and insisted its about personality and if we just get a good one we can go up against Mrs. Clinton.

James said......Mrs. Clinton will be awful tough to beat.

Bill knew he was handed a can of whoop ass this evening by Mr Carville and he had that loser look on his face at the end of the conversation.

Good job, James, can't wait for my girl Hillary in 2016.

Will the Rise of Colbert be the Demise of O'Reilly

I wanted to comment but they were closed....what you said is interesting.....

At first I thought will the rise of Colbert be the demise of O'Reilly.

Then I thought Bill must have known in advance about Colbert taking over for Letterman,

One thing Bill cannot really go up against successfully is a real good comedian--they lay him out so bad--particularly someone like Seth McFarlaine.

But what seems to govern Bill more than anything is ratings as shown by his recent rant over CNN and the missing plane.

I always try to figure out what makes the old bird tick and why he is so popular.  My current best theory is that of Zeke Emanuel who said to him that he likes to stir up fear to make ratings when he could use his popularity to give out information.

If you listen to him he also cherishes his own Catholic guilt.

Now I have to think through carefully your idea as I like to consider my self a Bill O'Reilly critic.

Chloe louise....self-appointed Bill O'Reilly critic...the ronnie republic

from newsday.com:

What did Bill O'Reilly's rip of Stephen Colbert mean, exactly?

The culture wars bled into the late night wars the other evening when Bill O'Reilly went after Stephen Colbert -- calling him a "deceiver" who has damaged the country. Yes, this news was everywhere Wednesday -- and sorry about getting to it so late -- but better late than never, and it's not going away, so . . .
This broadside arrived on the Talking Points segment on Tuesday's "Factor" -- and Bill is clearly annoyed here. More than annoyed -- angry. More than angry -- is there some other word designating "more than angry?"
O'Reilly is responding to Colbert's broadside from last week, when he mocked his alter ego's comments about "equality . . ." Set aside the specifics of O'Reilly's complaints (see clip below) or the fairness of Colbert's representation of his position -- this is what Colbert does, and does on a regular basis.

Reverend Al Sharpton Wired for Sound by Rudy Giuliani

Geraldo Radio, Noam Radio, Rudy Radio, Bernie Radio!

Seriously, Geraldo Rivera runs an informative radio show....even when he is not there.

Today we had Noam, in for Geraldo--busy on his secret mission.......

Check out the video, Noam is not only pleasant on the radio but he is cute, too.

Noam went on today with Rudy Giuliani talking about the new mayor of New York De Blasio.......Rudy gave his take on things....how Mr. De Blasio is doing so far and how his style will pan out over a period of time.

Rudy thinks he is doing a pretty good job but would suggest he clean up his act about being late for the press conference.

Like Bernie Kerik--Mondays's with the Commish--Rudy is a frequent guest of the show but the cool thing is--agree or disagree--Rudy had the gift of explaining things in a conversational way.  He explained the mayor can get blamed for everything regardless of his ability to control it or not.  Rudy was blamed for record snow shortly after he was in office.

The New Yorkers take it personally when it comes to shoveling snow.

There are still complaints from certain areas of town where it was thought the snow was not removed in a fast enough way to please the residents of those streets.

As far as how he has done in office so far.......good and bad...he does not deserve a grade so far as it is just too soon.  Rudy said he has a completely  different philosophy regarding city government and business so he is a bit one-sided and maybe not the best one to give an opinion.  Having said that he gave us a lot of info about the new mayor--explaining how things work--I love that.

Talking about Al Sharpton possibly wearing a wire.......referring all inquires to the justice dept he said he was the United States attorney at the time and he cannot really talk about the claim of him wearing a wire, as reported recently in the news.  It happened in Rudy's district.

Rudy explained he had dealt with very tough criminals at the time and he was bound by the rules of the law....there was a contract out for his life for 800,000 dollars.  This was in 1984.

He is not saying he already knew about it but he did say he was very active in justice at the time.

Noam Laden suggested Rudy Giuliani and Al Sharpton seemed as if they hated each other at the time but the question remains is Giuliani the one who wired AL Sharpton.......it sure seems like it according to Noam.

Good interview, with former mayor Giuliani, Noam.

Good scoop, Noam, the caller said, Geraldo is going to be proud of you.

Geraldo is the friend of Reverend Al and has defended him many times as this blog has mentioned on many occasions the hatred rant of Bill O'Reilly against Al Sharpton.  It does not take long to listen to his show, Politics Nation, to find spiritual inspiration in his words.

There’s been a bit of a laugh deficit in Wichita since the Loony Bin, the city’s only comedy club, closed 13 months ago.
Now it’s back with a new location, name and mission. Live at 215 Performance Theater opened at 215 N. St. Francis last weekend.
“We want to do more than just comedy,” general manager Jeremy Woolever said. “It’ll enable us to put on any shows possible.”
Fans of stand-up comedy needn’t worry. That style of performance will still be featured most Thursdays through Saturdays. A soft opening this weekend showcases comedians Scott White and Sam Norton. The Chinaman, a performer who’s known for his musical impersonations, will headline next week’s grand opening.
Woolever is one of the holdovers from the club’s 14-year run on East 21st Street. A couple of nearby shootings and the landlord’s reluctance to spruce things up convinced the owners to find a new spot. Live at 215 is part of a chain of comedy clubs in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Little Rock that are owned by partners Jeff Jones and Larry Marks.
“We just figured it was time,” Woolever said. “We needed a different place and face.”
The new club was built in 1910 as the W.H. Gaiser Building, first used for carriages and then automobiles. Exposed brick walls and thick wooden ceiling beams add to the ambience. There’s about 4,500 square feet of space set aside for the club, with more next door planned for office use.
Another part of the appeal was location: It sits right on the border between the Old Town entertainment district and redeveloping downtown, with a 400-space parking lot across the street.
“A lot of good things are happening in this part of town,” Woolever said.
Live at 215 holds 135 seats in its theater, a few fewer than the old location, but also has a 86-seat bar up front where patrons can catch a drink before and after shows, as well as a kitchen capable of cranking out an expanded menu. Live at 215 plans to open for lunch and dinner in a couple of weeks.
Woolever expects the venue to be used for theatrical shows, concerts and private events. He said fans of stand-up comedy have been asking for months when the club would reopen.
That process took six months longer than expected as the owners took pains to make sure the building maintained its historical status. A plan to open last Friday fell through as the necessary inspections could not be completed in time. On Saturday, the doors finally opened despite the fact that all its beverage dispensers weren’t operational.
“We were pouring out Coke by the 2-liter bottles, pouring juice out of bottles,” Woolever said. “I think we did pretty darn well.”
Jones, part of the construction crew covered in dust who’d been laboring on the club the previous day, said he thinks all the work and waiting will pay off.
“We’re looking forward to another good 14 years.”

I went down there this past weekend for the opening show, it's a nice place. But what in the hell were they thinking picking a building that small and that design. We were crammed in there like sardines. They must've had the same designer as the downtown arena. And the design and layout is terrible, it's a long narrow room with the stage at one end. Those are the two things that might make me not want to go back. Also there's one 6 foot wide hallway with a 36 or 40 inch door that leads into the theatre that is both used for patrons exiting the early show and those entering the later show, it's terrible. The bar area up front is really small and there's not nearly enough waiting space for those waiting to get into the late show and then everyone waiting is in way of those trying to get out of the earlier show. I got a 17-year-old that could design that venue better than that. It's almost like they decided we're going to be in old town regardless of whether we can find a suitable location or not.
