Asking Geraldo Rivera to Reconsider Pit Bulls

you were very smart on your show today re: immigration....I love your show and listen to you everyday--seriously, one of the best news talk shows out there but won't you please reconsider your views on pit bulls. They are one of the most abused dogs. Will you consider having more people on your show to talk about the issue so the word can get out. cl.....the ronnie re.

CNN Messes Up Then Tries To Blame Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan has spent a bitter week hitting out at his former CNN colleague Anderson Cooper, blaming the dismal ratings for Piers Morgan Tonight on Cooper’s poor lead-in.

On Thursday, CNN hit back, calling his behaviour “sad” and accusing Morgan of denigrating Cooper in an attempt to get a new TV job.

The flame war started with an interview Morgan gave to Politico, published on 2 October. “Could I have done with a better lead-in?” he said. “Yes. Anderson is a great field reporter, but does he drive big ratings at CNN, outside of a big news cycle? I don’t see any evidence of it.”

It continued with a column Morgan wrote for the Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, where he described Cooper as “stiff in a studio”, and that his show gets “annihilated in the ratings” by Fox News’s Bill O’Reilly. He said he blamed Cooper for not bringing in a strong enough audience for his AC360 show, who would then go on to watch Piers Morgan Tonight.

He expanded on his relationship with Cooper in an interview with Access Hollywood. “I don’t get on that well with Anderson, never had that much to do with Anderson,” Morgan said, continuing: “It’s not to denigrate Anderson who is a very, very good field reporter. But to me as a studio star, he’s not really what CNN needs.” He also suggested CNN should have hired Megyn Kelly, the Fox News anchor whose show airs at 9pm, the slot formerly occupied by Morgan on CNN.

On Thursday CNN spokeswoman Megan Rivers retaliated, in a statementfirst obtained by Politico which said: “For the two-and-a-half years that AC 360 served as the lead-in to Piers Morgan’s program on CNN, it always delivered a higher rating than Piers’ program. And for the seven months that Piers Morgan’s program led into AC 360, 360 always delivered a higher rating than Piers’ program.”

“It is sad that Piers is trying to find a new job by misrepresenting how he performed in his old one.”

Oh, excuse me.....let's just wait one tiny little minute. As a CNN viewer forever....I get to talk.

Here is exactly where CNN messed up.....

They did have some good shows on hand which they F***ed up big time.

they had George Strombo, who is an excellent interviewer....seriously, the guests end up telling him useful and interesting information.

He beats Anderson and Piers, who are both skilled, hands down on technique and having what it takes to make a good show.

But, no....instead of showing George which they advertised all week.....they had to run repeats of PM and AC 360 over and over again while cutting George.

Get a clue, CNN--enough is enough of PM and AC--one show of them each is plenty in one evening--but endless reruns of the same thing over and over again--give me a break.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what is wrong with the scenario........I said use George Strombo--you are wasting your talent on hand--bring back Larry, what about Geraldo Rivera, why did they let Greta go?

The Larry King show was a perfect format for a dinner show on a regular basis--interesting and easy to take,

At the end of the day it seemed like AC and PM were in a fight to takeover control of the network.

They are both fine in small doses--let them get their evening interview show organized with a few interesting hosts and some good current news-topic guests.

Take a lesson from Larry King--add a few other good hosts and guests and you've got yourself ratings.

I shouldn't have to say all of this--I bet CNN pays a bunch of real smart people a whole lot of money to know these things.

Seriously, the man who did his show today gave out false information......

What's up with that?

I guess everyone knows Geraldo is doing a show with the Donald but it's time for him to come back.

Yesterday the guy got real mad and purposely picked a fight with a real nice lady.....then today he tried to say President Obama never mentioned terrorism associated with the Benghazi incident.

Remember........Mitt Romney, Candy Crowley.......the debate.

Enough already with the yelling and bad information.

We want Geraldo.

Hello.......Geraldo.......are you out there......it's time to come home.

Seriously....I am am always listening to the radio on my chromebook......

Okay this is a good one.

This is a very good connection for listening and viewing Geraldo Rivera on WABC AM radio New York.

This is on every morning in San Diego at 7 AM.......right after Merrill and Lynda on KOGO 600 San Diego.

After going to this website once I only have to type in a "g" on my chromebook and it comes right up.
The sound is loud and clear.

The picture is clear.

Right, it's fun to hear the news of New York.....it is very different than San Diego and it is also national and world news and talk with a New York take on things.

Bill O'Reilly: Word of the day--Grace--you have none.

Writing to Erik Wemple of the Washington Post trying to attract attention.......

I'm really writing about O'Reilly.

What did you think of Geraldo last Fri calling out O'Reilly on disrespect during his interview with the President.

I thought it needed to be said. I watched that interview and I felt like Bill was baiting our President for a gang brawl.

Something about it really made me sick.

Last evening talking abut the state dinner he referred to Rev Al Sharpton as a thug.

Word of the day...grace....Bill has none.

He is constantly poking a stick in the eye of black America.

I thought Geraldo hit the nail on the head when he said he is the first African-American President and this is a huge deal.

Just wondering if you will write about it because people will pay attention to what you say.

It hurts my feelings.

Right, I do write about it but you might have a few more readers.

The Dangerous Self-Love of Bill O'Reilly

Bill O'Reilly is an extremely dangerous individual and here is why.

He acts as if he is trying to enlighten people with information, no spin and fair and balanced, as he often likes to say.

It does not take long after listening to him to see his real views.

He is really not that skillful in cloaking his actual thoughts in trying to shout about how he was respectful to the President in his recent interview.

Where he could give listeners information he uses those chances to create ill-will and a atmosphere of hate against our President.

Just as an example--health care--now people actually have access to health care like all of the other advanced nations of our world--he says he wants health care but we certainly cannot give the credit to President Obama.

He said one day the government just can't do it.

But, in fact, our system for providing medical services to the citizens was in an expensive state of failure.

While the ACA may not have all of the bugs ironed out it is certainly a step in the right direction.

As his buddy Charles Krauthammer tried to say--we have the best health care system in the world--actually that is not true. It would be interesting to see where he is getting his facts.

The right tries to always insist that we are the only great country and we have to be the best--our health care in the current state is not the best.

We did not even have access for all of the citizens for preventative health care.

Instead of giving information to those who may be unfamiliar with Barack Obama Mr. O'Reilly uses it as a means to instill fear.

He is bogus, at best.

He is the fox news personification of Eddie Haskell.......an arrogant teenager.

Instead of giving facts and info as he claims he uses semi-facts to instill fear in the citizens of the United States who mistakenly think they are being enlightened. Instead they are just being used for his sick agenda.

Geraldo Radio Today: Ari Fleischer says Rand Paul is a waste of time

On Geraldo Radio today, WABC New York--right off the bat Geraldo asked his guest Ari Fleischer what he thought of the words of Rand Paul giving his thoughts on the state of the Union by President Obama and taking the opportunity to bash President Clinton.

Ari said, "Bringing up President Clinton and his indiscretions is a waste of time. Our country already went through that. That kind of talk does not do anything for the progress of the republican party or win elections."

Those were refreshing words, repub or dem, hate talk does not solve problems. What in the world was the purpose of those ideas of Rand Paul other than to be self serving.

Ari, who is your idea for the republican candidate.

Good job, Ari, and thank you for telling us your thoughts today.

Well, Geraldo often says Bernard Kerik, former NYPD big man is his friend, in fact, he has him on his show each Monday for a very interesting take on police and New York City current events.

Well, this morning on Geraldo Radio, WABC New York, Geraldo just could not resist asking Joe Tac about his poor representation of Bernie during his recent big trial in NYC resulting in a sentence.

Obviously, Geraldo was offended by Joe's treatment of his friend--he was scheduled to talk about his client A-Rod.

Geraldo nailed him down fast and Joe Tac did the sidestep dance.

Joe Tacopina would not really answer the questions on Bernard Kerik--he did go on very well about A-Rod as touted.

Geraldo Rivera reminded Mr. Joe T. that he was influential in his career during the OJ Simpson period when Geraldo had his very successful CNBC show featuring the trial of OJ Simpson and very well-spoken attorneys from the area.

I well remember that show--It was one of the best OJ shows on television.

Good job, Geraldo and Noam for creating a heated--lively discussion without losing your cool. It's a good story and it would be so fun to see this continuing saga.

Now we have Alan Dershowitz and Ann Coulter......regular Tuesday guests.

Will Alan discuss the legacy of Ariel Sharon......

Alan says Chris Christie is a classic case of willful blindness--"You mess with Christie and this is what you get."

Ann does not care for Christie as she feels he screwed up on amnesty but does not feel bridge-o-rama has anything to do with politics.

Alan Dershowitz--agree or disagree--is always an amazing guest.

Alan is sad about the whole thing because he liked Gov Christie--Christie and Bob Filner hurt my feelings too

Dershowitz said Christie's actions were reckless, thoughtless and stupid and it is completely inappropriate in the oval office.

Ann very shrilly stated it does not make sense to say it was politically motivated. Geraldo very softly lays out Ann, too. "In your view as long as your against undocumented illegal immigrants you're okay."

Alan says illegals have contributed to our society not to mention fleeing the holocaust.

Good Job Geraldo Rivera and WABC New York--Conservative Talk Radio Without Hate

The Show is good--it's plain talk--the people call in and say what they think.

The folks of New York love to call in and talk to Geraldo and that is all there is. He listens, lets them talk and then he says his opinion, also.

The listener gets to hear the vibe of the citizens of New York, or the folks of the US, we get to hear what Geraldo thinks about the issues and we get to hear Juan Williams, Bo Dietl, Ann Coulter--it's a good show.

One needs diversion to complete housework........

It is interesting conversation--I can listen and do the dishes.

What is going on in America--tune in to WABC-New York and I know what is happening this morning on the news.

The big headline--no one is shouting and we get to hear both sides of the issue.

Really, this is the best news-talk show on radio today--both sides, divergent views without anger--it works for me.

Geraldo said today he thinks the traffic hold-up issue of Chris Christie--reportedly blocking traffic on a busy New York bridge in retaliation for not supporting him for re-election will be a major game-changer for the Christie election.

He thinks this could effectively end his bid for presidency.

Juan Williams joined in to say it goes against his policy of being on the straight and narrow regardless of party.

Geraldo Rivera recently changed his format, this past Monday, to a more local type show with video. One can watch him in his office and soon they may be dashing around town. The first day the video was a little sporadic but now it seems to work just fine.

GERALDO HAD SURGERY TO FIX HIS MANGLED FOOT

On this New Year’s Eve, Fox News anchor Geraldo Rivera treated his nearly 50,000 Twitter followers to a series of updates on his gnarled foot, the result of what he claims was a botched back surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

“Getting ready for surgery on foot ruined by [Hospital for Special Surgery],” Rivera tweeted Tuesday. A photo of his mangled big toe set atop a copy of the day’s New York Times was included.

“Patient is is reasonably good spirits despite hair riot,” Rivera then tweeted with a selfie inside Mount Sinai Hospital, also in New York.

“Survive surgery,” read a followup tweet. This one also included one of Rivera’s notorious selfies. But rather than standing almost nude in front of a mirror, he was seated in a chair, wearing a hospital gown (hopefully closed in the back).

“On the mend,” said a third tweet, accompanied by a photo of a foot wearing a brace.

“Heading home!” read a final tweet. “Thanks Mt. Sinai Hospital. No thanks Hospital for Special Surgery for botched original job-Happy New Year.” Included was a photo of Rivera on crutches…

Earlier in December, Rivera tweeted that he was suing the hospital that allegedly wrecked his foot.
