From the writing desk of the Ronnie Republic Radio Round-Up:  Seriously, Geraldo Rivera should consider running for office.

Why........he is a breath of fresh air for the republican party.

He tells the truth, talks about his experiences.....discusses the issues........that's new for the Republican Party, right.

He doesn't just spend his time bashing President Obama and Hillary Clinton.

As evidenced by his talk show every morning on WABC Radio New York--he is able to work across the table---all of the big talkers call in and tell him their opinion--everyone seems to enjoy talking to Geraldo.

From the big politicians to the neighborhood folks--they all call in and tell Graldo what is on their mind.

Agree or disagree, they seem happy to chat with this New Yorker--they talk to him like they know him--as if they are old friends.

Does he have a position in the GOP--he says often he is trying to energize the Republican Party.

Listening to a whole lot of radio talk shows and cable news talk shows--they are so often just one way.

Its really not a discussion on the radio........it's just a bunch of old white men bashing our beautiful President and now, Hillary, too.

That's a turn-off, right, if you're trying to get more folks to join your political party.

This is new--there is not discussion on those other shows--it's all one way or your out of here....try watching O'Reilly or Hannity or listen to the right wing bash shows that seem to dominate the airwaves.

There is no real information--Geraldo Rivera has information--and he talks about the issues--he listens to ideas from his callers.

Most importantly--he is not an old angry white man.

The republican party has become the party of the mad men--or those that are holier than thou..........Bill O'Reilly, as an example--so in love with his own Catholic guilt.

Geraldo is a Latino--that is a big step right there--he cares for the less financially endowed individual, he wants health care for everyone.

He often speaks of those that are not financially struggling--he wants a nice life for those folks also without punishment.

Good job, Geraldo, you have a lot to offer--thanks for telling us all of your good ideas and caring about the kids and the citizens of New York.

Geraldo Rivera definitely has a handle on the pulse and vibe of New York City.

The GOP should take a listen to his Hispanic passion--after all, we still do need at least two political parties.

Call me Karl Rove but it is the political conversation that moves things forward.

cl--Hillary girl forever.

The Ronnie Republic Radio Round-Up with Rita Cosby

Have to say it.....Rita is good.......

Filling in for Geraldo Rivera this week on WABC New York.

Last week was very trying.....we had an angry man with wrong information.....that's never good is it.

Well, I guess WABC finally came to its senses and got some one in the same grain as their regular radio Rastafarian, Geraldo Rivera.

Rita Cosby, beautiful lady with a beautiful voice, talks to the callers, invites their opinions and, most importantly, does not freak out when they say something with an idea different from hers.

People, we have got to promote the political conversation--no one group or individual is ever all right or all wrong--even republicans.

Of course, Geraldo is the king of this radio magic....all of the big talkers call in and love to tell Geraldo everything on their mind....and all the New York neighbors call in, too.....as if they have been buddies with Geraldo forever.

This is refreshing in talk radio today--particularly on a right leaning station--it's a breath of fresh air to be cherished.

The radio should be free for everyone--a free distribution of news and information--opinion is fine, but not just one opinion.

Rita Cosby hits the nail on the head, too, and she would be the perfect fill-in until the return of Geraldo.

Where in the world is Geraldo Rivera--has he been taken hostage by Donald Trump.....is Geraldo fixing Donald's hair.

Will we ever know the answer to these questions........

Here's wishing the best to Geraldo and Rita---and missing the interesting insights from Bernie Kerik on Monday's with the Commish.

My question to Bernie--what is your take on police traffic officers wearing cameras in light of recent accusations of officers taking advantage of ladies on traffic stops---this was suggested in San Diego after three incidents.  The department was also taken over by Zimmerman--the first female chief of police in San Diego.

What do you think Bernie?

Where in the World is Geraldo Rivera

Seriously, the man who did his show today gave out false information......

What's up with that?

I guess everyone knows Geraldo is doing a show with the Donald but it's time for him to come back.

Yesterday the guy got real mad and purposely picked a fight with a real nice lady.....then today he tried to say President Obama never mentioned terrorism associated with the Benghazi incident.

Remember........Mitt Romney, Candy Crowley.......the debate.

Enough already with the yelling and bad information.

We want Geraldo.

Hello.......Geraldo.......are you out there......it's time to come home.

Reverend Al Sharpton Wired for Sound by Rudy Giuliani

Geraldo Radio, Noam Radio, Rudy Radio, Bernie Radio!

Seriously, Geraldo Rivera runs an informative radio show....even when he is not there.

Today we had Noam, in for Geraldo--busy on his secret mission.......

Check out the video, Noam is not only pleasant on the radio but he is cute, too.

Noam went on today with Rudy Giuliani talking about the new mayor of New York De Blasio.......Rudy gave his take on things....how Mr. De Blasio is doing so far and how his style will pan out over a period of time.

Rudy thinks he is doing a pretty good job but would suggest he clean up his act about being late for the press conference.

Like Bernie Kerik--Mondays's with the Commish--Rudy is a frequent guest of the show but the cool thing is--agree or disagree--Rudy had the gift of explaining things in a conversational way.  He explained the mayor can get blamed for everything regardless of his ability to control it or not.  Rudy was blamed for record snow shortly after he was in office.

The New Yorkers take it personally when it comes to shoveling snow.

There are still complaints from certain areas of town where it was thought the snow was not removed in a fast enough way to please the residents of those streets.

As far as how he has done in office so far.......good and bad...he does not deserve a grade so far as it is just too soon.  Rudy said he has a completely  different philosophy regarding city government and business so he is a bit one-sided and maybe not the best one to give an opinion.  Having said that he gave us a lot of info about the new mayor--explaining how things work--I love that.

Talking about Al Sharpton possibly wearing a wire.......referring all inquires to the justice dept he said he was the United States attorney at the time and he cannot really talk about the claim of him wearing a wire, as reported recently in the news.  It happened in Rudy's district.

Rudy explained he had dealt with very tough criminals at the time and he was bound by the rules of the law....there was a contract out for his life for 800,000 dollars.  This was in 1984.

He is not saying he already knew about it but he did say he was very active in justice at the time.

Noam Laden suggested Rudy Giuliani and Al Sharpton seemed as if they hated each other at the time but the question remains is Giuliani the one who wired AL Sharpton.......it sure seems like it according to Noam.

Good interview, with former mayor Giuliani, Noam.

Good scoop, Noam, the caller said, Geraldo is going to be proud of you.

Geraldo is the friend of Reverend Al and has defended him many times as this blog has mentioned on many occasions the hatred rant of Bill O'Reilly against Al Sharpton.  It does not take long to listen to his show, Politics Nation, to find spiritual inspiration in his words.

Mondays on Geraldo Radio with Bernie Kerik

Former NYPD Police Commish Bernie Kerik on the radio with Geraldo today.

Actually, Geraldo was not there today and Noam Laden very amply filled in to chat with the big man and Top Cop of New York about life on the street for a police man or woman.

It is always interesting to hear what  Bernie has to say--he does have a way to relate to the average person that is informative and enjoyable.  Seriously, I can understand what he is talking about and I know zip about the police.

He told of a story of people under his direction asking him to join them on Saturdays for breakfast and training on top of the Brooklyn Bridge.   As first, Bernie felt like it might not be appropriate or proper for him to join their company but after giving it some thought he felt like it might be respectful to acknowledge their request.  He ended up joining them and it turned out to be a day of mutual respect and admiration for both sides.  He added, "That was the best thing I could have done to show how I cared about the hard work of the individuals  and unsung heroes who work so hard every day and unnoticed for the NYPD."  Every day they do crazy things and put themselves in harms way for the citizens of New York and the average person does not realize what kind of things they are going through.

My son, fixing coffee, said that guy hates liberals, listening to Fran Tarkenton rail against the AARP.......but I said that even though this is a conservative station and Geraldo is a republican he does have people on from both sides and that is rare in radio today.....usually they are hard core dem or repub one way or the other.

That's the radio show of Geraldo and why I like it....I get to hear both sides and the people feel free to talk so the listener gets a lot of info....and that is my goal.

Trying to see what makes cops tick.....that is way beyond interesting info to me.  it is something I would really like to understand.

Thank you, Bernie, for taking time to tell us about the hard work and caring individuals that work on the police force.  That is great information for all of us to know.

Mondays with the Commish......a regular feature on Geraldo Radio......

WABC New York.....1000--1200 Eastern Time.......yes, it is a good show.

here is a link to the show page......I listen to it or watch the vid on my chromebook:

Bill O'Reilly: Making a Fool Out of Himself Over Beyonce Right Now and O'Reilly Blast from DL Hughley

No, Bill, I imagine you're not the first man to make a fool out of themselves over Beyonce.  These things are prone to happen when a man sees a beautiful women.

Every night, Beyonce, Beyonce, Beyonce.....it's become embarrassing and obvious.

This butler of bilge Bil O'Reilly cherry picks the facts to fit his view of the truth--which usually is not true.

In the first place he shook hands with Snoop at Kennedy Center honors.  He could have taken time to have a chat with him about his well-known community work in Long Beach.  He has been very successful with his football team focusing on the city kids and their well-being.

He could have taken time to listen to Snoop talk to Larry King about family and responsibility.

But no, Bill continually focuses on Beyonce and Jay-Z, bashing them every evening......

His obsession with Beyonce every night is becoming embarrassing.  At this point some one at Fox should have a chat with him because he is just embarrassing himself.

Right, Bill, men like beautiful women, even you--just admit it but it is time to move on to a new subject.

If he really wants to be relevant he could have Snoop on his show and actually listen to what he says.

Besides all of that wouldn't Snoop know more about inner city kids than Bill.

Chloe Louise Dear Geraldo: You are one of the very few people that has the ear of your cohort

Bill o'Reilly. I do not know why but you can actually disagree with him and he listens.....but I

have noticed listenening to your radio show every day, you really have that knack. I don't know

how you do it but you can completely disagree with someone and they do not go away angry

and everyone has said different opinions. Here is what I wrote about Bill and I hope you will

have a chat with him.

  • Bill O’ Reilly recently criticized Beyonce‘s “Partition” video for “glorifying sex in the back of limo.” D.L. Hughley goes in on O’Reilly in this exclusive Grab Bag for having the audacity to judge Beyonce for showing her sexuality towards her husband and not women like teenage mother, Bristol Palin. Did Lifetime not “glorify” teenage pregnancy when they gave her a reality show? Listen to the audio player to hear everything D.L. had to say that might cause Bill O’Reilly to bite his tongue!

Geraldo Rivera tries to talk to Eddie Haskell, I mean Bill O'Reilly

Watching Geraldo on the radio--streaming WABC.

Geraldo's caller Elanor makes a good point--Geraldo Radio, WABC this morning from New York.....

O'Reilly scrutinized President Obama and had a love fest with Ted Nugent, he did no push back at all.

Still talking about the interview of Fox News television host Bill O'Reilly with President Obama right before the Superbowl.

Geraldo Rivera, Fox News Host, WABC Radio Host and Fox News Lationo contributor guested on O'Reilly this past Frday evening to try an school the arrogant one on his misdeeds during the interview.

There was a disgusting element to it when Bill leaned in towards our President as if he was baiting him for back street brawl.

The President, as usual kept his cool and did not take the bait.

Simple Simon O'Reilly really thought he was going to show President Obama the tough questions the rest of the media refuse to ask Barack Obama.

Geraldo told Bill he was plain disrespectful.

A black caller said we have been here for over 200 years and only white people are in the presidential office......only white people and we are tired of it.

Eddie Haskell-esque Bill O'Reilly refused to understand--refuses to even try and understand he was not just offensive to President Obama but he is also poking a stick in the eye of every African-American, every person of color--every person that appreciates President Obama and the hard road he has traveled to become President.  It's fine to do a hard interview but Bill was disrespectful to the office.

Bill will not admit there are a great many people in America, like Geraldo's caller said that are simply finally represented.

There is a giant group of people in the United States that have never really had the focus on them and now they are.  These people are proud and happy.

Bill cannot understand this concept, Bill only sees old white rich men--Barack Obama is the President of every citizen of the United states.

Geraldo did a good job on Friday evening with O'Reilly--it should have been said.  As Elenor pointed out, fair and balanced does not come into play between O'Reilly, Ted Nugent and President Obama.

Geraldo says he is Puerto Rican and Jewish--I am not for open borders but I am a compassionate person and I want people to be treated fairly.

One day a New York teacher called in to say--in the 70's her Hispanic school children were so happy and proud to see Geraldo on the television and hear a name that sounded like theirs.

Geraldo is also for health care for everyone--is he the saving grace of Fox news, or what?

Bill O'Reilly runs round the country on his gig with Dennis Miller.  The tickets here in San Diego were about a hun for reg seats and 500 dollars for the meet and greet portion.  Bill always says I am the only one representing the folks of America--the average working folks.  I can't help but think--Bill are these your folks you're talking about--because this is certainly not a true representation of our country.

Geraldo Rivera Schools Simple Simon Bill O'Reilly on the Presidential Interview

Geraldo Rivera Schools Simple Simon Bill O'Reilly on the Presidential Interview

Geraldo Rivera is one of the few people who can stand up to O'Reilly.

Geraldo and Bill had already gone about it on Geraldo's radio show earlier in the day when Geraldo told Bill he referred to our very wonderful President as merely a Chicago community organizer instead of President of the United States.

Credit to Bill for accepting criticism but there was a certain air about Bill's stance and demeanor during his interview with President Obama that was almost sickening.  Bill trys to say he is fair but one does not have to listen to him long to see his true thoughts.

He such a simple Simon--as if he is going to solve all the issues of race and poverty by suggesting to President Obama things would be just perfect if everyone had an education and all of the parents stayed together.

Hello Bill, are you with your wife?  No--because women today do have an education and do not have to stay married to someone with his arrogance that wants to get in your face to talk.

Bill has the arrogance of a teenager and needs to have a larger view of the world.

Only a teenager would have that kind of thinking and grandeur.

I'm glad Geraldo spoke--he has the talent to disagree without reaching anger mode.

Good job, Geraldo, and thanks for calling Bill out.

    from the blaze......

Things Get Tense When Geraldo Rivera Accuses Bill O’Reilly of Stripping Obama of His ‘Majesty’ in Super Bowl Interview

During a tense exchange on Friday’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” Geraldo Rivera accused Bill O’Reilly of stripping President Barack Obama of his “majesty” during his highly-watched Super Bowl interview.
    (Fox News)
    (Fox News)
Rivera said the president wasn’t given the respect he deserves and as a result the interview came off as the “President of Most of the White Guys of America,” O’Reilly, versus the president of “almost everyone else.” He also criticized the TV host for referring to Obama as a “community organizer.”
“It’s not my job to be a social scientist or please you, Geraldo Rivera, who’s looking more like a cartel member every day,” O’Reilly joked. “My job is to get information. That’s my job. I got it. And I asked him the tough questions that nobody else — no one — has asked him.”
“What you did was strip him of his majesty, so to speak,” Rivera replied.
“I don’t think he has majesty! He’s not a king!” O’Reilly said, adding that he respects the office of the presidency but presidents still need to be held accountable.

Geraldo Rivera: The Anti-O'Reilly of Fox News

    Geraldo Rivera Calls O'Reilly Out

    and rightly so.........

Grace being the operative word and Bill's lack there of.

Tonight on Bill O'Reilly's show, The Factor, on Fox News, Geraldo Rivera took Bill O'Reilly to task.

First, for trying to deny he called our President a community organizer from Chicago--right, instead of President of the United States, not to mention the very first African-American President of the United States and even more importantly his ultra aggressive premise in the interview.

Talking about his recent interview with our President Barack Obama prior to the Superbowl.

Geraldo told Bill  "he is the President of the United States filling the shoes equal to Abraham Lincoln and you did not show him respect."  You have to show respect to the office and the person in it.  Geraldo went on to say, "He is not the mayor of Hartford."

He explained, "I grew up in the civil rights era and this man has made great strides--you've got to acknowledge it."

Geraldo accurately stated, his demeanor, the way he leaned forward, the way he called him a community organizer from Chicago was incorrect and offensive.

It was disgusting--Bill is almost always disrespectful--he has a history of calling his guests by their last names.

Bill did not even bother to mention the accomplishments of our President.  Now, everyone has the access to health care, like all of the other sophisticated countries of the world--that was a giant accomplishment, Bill, and many are very appreciative, including myself.

Our President stood up for women to Rush Limbaugh.  President Obama stood up for violence against children and people of color when he talked abut Trayvon Martin.

There was something very ugly about O'Reilly interviewing President Obama.  It was his whole stance and demeanor....the way he was leaning forward in his chair and also the questions he asked.

He is such a simple Simon...I could not believe he actually asked President Obama if the whole issue of race could just not be solved by education and parents staying in the home.

Bill is divorced and President Obama is not.  Why?

Bill is such a boob.  What woman would want to be married to an arrogant donkey doo-dad like that guy.  Women today do not have to put up with it because the women do have an education.  He was disrespectful to our President in a way that was almost sickening.

The man is too arrogant--someday a mistake in that direction may cause him his job.  President Obama deserves an award for taking the higher ground and putting up with people like that.

O'Reilly is so blind and full of himself he cannot even see the good things Barack Obama has accomplished.

Bill has to grow up and see a larger world.

I am embarrassed and angry by his interview attitude.

If one listens to Bill carefully it does not take long to see what he is about--he is not really that careful about cloaking his actual thoughts even though he thinks he is fooling everyone.

President Obama is a very big man and Bill is small and unattractive.

President Obama is a man with grace, O'Reilly is not.

Good job, Geraldo, good job tonight and thank you for that.

Geraldo Rivera is one of the few people who can stand up to O'Reilly without him going ballistic.  Geraldo has the unique ability to let people talk, even when he is in complete disagreement without going into anger mode.  His radio show is good--this is why.  All of the big talkers say their opinion and Geraldo keeps his cool.  This is a talent in conservative radio today.  Not to mention the New York callers think they are best friends with Mister G.

Geraldo Radio Today: Ari Fleischer says Rand Paul is a waste of time

Ari Fleischer, former press sec to President Bush.

On Geraldo Radio today, WABC New York--right off the bat Geraldo asked his guest Ari Fleischer what he thought of the words of Rand Paul giving his thoughts on the state of the Union by President Obama and taking the opportunity to bash President Clinton.

Ari said, "Bringing up President Clinton and his indiscretions is a waste of time.  Our country already went through that.  That kind of talk does not do anything for the progress of the republican party or win elections."

Those were refreshing words, repub or dem, hate talk does not solve problems.  What in the world was the purpose of those ideas of Rand Paul other than to be self serving.

Ari, who is your idea for the republican candidate.

Good job, Ari, and thank you for telling us your thoughts today.

Geraldo Rivera Lays Out Bernie Kerik Lawyer Joe Tacopina: Geraldo Rivera Radio Round-Up Jan 14 2014

    Detective Bernard Kerik

Geraldo Rivera Lays Out Bernie Kerik Lawyer Joe Tacopina

    Right, and the headline reads:

    And Keeps His Cool........

Well, Geraldo often says Bernard Kerik, former NYPD big man is his friend, in fact, he has him on his show each Monday for a very interesting take on police and New York City current events.

Well, this morning on Geraldo Radio, WABC New York, Geraldo just could not resist asking Joe Tac about his poor representation of Bernie during his recent big trial in NYC resulting in a sentence.

Obviously, Geraldo was offended by Joe's treatment of his friend--he was scheduled to talk about his client A-Rod.

Geraldo nailed him down fast and Joe Tac did the sidestep dance.

Joe Tacopina would not really answer the questions on Bernard Kerik--he did go on very well about A-Rod as touted.

Geraldo Rivera reminded Mr. Joe T. that he was influential in his career during the OJ Simpson period when Geraldo had his very successful CNBC show featuring the trial of OJ Simpson and very well-spoken attorneys from the area.

I well remember that show--It was one of the best OJ shows on television.

Good job, Geraldo and Noam for creating a heated--lively discussion without losing your cool.  It's a good story and it would be so fun to see this continuing saga.

Now we have Alan Dershowitz and Ann Coulter......regular Tuesday guests.

Will Alan discuss the legacy of Ariel Sharon......

Alan says Chris Christie is a classic case of willful blindness--"You mess with Christie and this is what you get."

Ann does not care for Christie as she feels he screwed up on amnesty but does not feel bridge-o-rama has anything to do with politics.

Alan Dershowitz--agree or disagree--is always an amazing guest.

Alan is sad about the whole thing because he liked Gov Christie--Christie and Bob Filner hurt my feelings too

Dershowitz said Christie's actions were reckless, thoughtless and stupid and it is completely inappropriate in the oval office.

Ann very shrilly stated it does not make sense to say it was politically motivated.  Geraldo very softly lays out Ann, too.  "In your view as long as your against undocumented illegal immigrants you're okay."

Alan says illegals have contributed to our society not to mention fleeing the holocaust.

Thank you, Alan, for your insightful statements.

    Good show, Geraldo
